You and me both, brother. Though I had my wife and my dad also enter, so we'll see....

You got awarded tickets? That's great. They must have been hard to get. I put in for four tickets, maybe I got too greedy, lol. I wanted to take my son for sure, than would have offered to take a friend and a son had I got the extra tickets

Yeah, pretty excited. I made it to a few open TC practices back in like '06 and '07. It was a good time. Got Tim Rattay's autograph. And Kwame Harris'. Ha!

Kwame Harris, lol. He has been in the news but nothing positive. I read this morning the 49ers are increasing the limit for training camp spectators from 10,000 to 20,000 people

If anyone goes I have read before that Vernon Davis can't/won't reach up to catch passes and after looking for that this past season I never saw him reach up and a couple of times it almost looked like he gave up on over thrown passes that he might have gotten a hand on and acted like he never had a chance to reach those passes. I don't claim to know for sure that he has a problem but any observations about this limitation if it exists would be appreciated.

I'll try to remember to look for it if I go.

Vernon Davis was dealing with injuries most of last year although Davis downplayed the injuries. It has been recently reported that the 49ers have acknowledged Davis played injured most of last season. Davis dealt with a bad back and I believe some leg issues. Some fans claim he has alligator arms and didn't put out the effort last year. Don't know how true that is. If you have ever experienced a stiff or hurting back, you will know how hard it is to move around sometimes. Davis also looked slow running last year. He was the team's deep threat until last season. His pass blocking had also suffered last year so is whole game had declined

I don't know how much of a setback Kilgore really had. He had a second surgery and is supposed to be back by middle of training camp. Nothing much has really changed with oline over the past offeason. It really will come down to whether the young guys can step up. That hasn't changed

That's crazy u have to apply for TC tickets. I guess I have it made in AZ. I can go to the Cards stadium and watch them practice anytime and it won't be packed at all.

Damn 20,000 at 49ers TC lol. You only get about 500-1000 at Cards TC. I got Fitz, Dockett and Campbell's autograph last year.

I believe the first practice, tonight, you can get into if you just buy tix to the HS all-star game that's taking place beforehand at Levi's. But it's a big market and they only open a handful of practices, so demand is apparently quite high.

I was hoping he was going to go to RT. I do not like Pears at all. He is ranked as one of the worst in the league.

That was at OG, though. At RT - at least according to reports I've seen - he's been passable. Don't get me wrong, I don't like it either, but we'll have to wait and see.

I'm very curious about Brandon Thomas. He could feasibly play RT or RG. It's looking like they envision Marcus Martin at RG, but if Kilgore isn't ready for the season opener, we basically have to start him at center. I can't see starting Looney, though maybe one of the former UDFAs stakes a claim.

I also read somewhere that Pears played better at tackle in a zone blocking scheme. I don't want to see him starting either.
