FOX Sports' Jon Morosi reports that the Orioles are interested in Yoenis Cespedes.

The Orioles are just one game back for a Wild Card spot and could really use a bat, but they might not have enough in their farm system to outbid other contenders. They also might not be willin :suds:

The Nava era has officially ended. Was to be expected, but he had a nice run with the Sox. He turned in a couple of very solid seasons for the Sox, including a 127 OPS+ in 2013. Not bad for a guy that was undrafted and didn't start playing professional baseball until he was, like, 25.

Blue Jays improved Big time. They are going all in. I can't believe my Yankees didn't do anything. Very disappointed.

We better hope, because this team reminds me of the Sox team a few years ago. Decent team that has everything go right, hopefully it continues for us.

We have a very good offense and one of the best if not the best 1-2 punch out of the pen. Starting pitching is my concern as Pineda and Tanaka has been really inconsistent and both are more like #2 instead of the ace. Either way I was not in favor of trading away top prospects for Price or Hammels

Almost literally everything went right for the Sox in 2013. They got 36.5 fWAR from their position players alone (most in MLB by a good margin). 7 of their regulars had 3+ WAR, and three of them finished in the top 10 in the AL (Victorino, Pedroia, Ellsbury). The Red Sox had quality starting pitching to go along with strong defense and a lights out closer, and they finished with a 109 ERA+.
