A-hole dentist

I'm with Jimmy Kimmel, this guy is a douchebag.

I knew a guy I went to school with many years ago who went to Africa to shoot a Zebra. I simply don't understand it. I have to admit all I could think of is WTF do you want to shoot a Zebra for. P.S. I'm not against hunting.

I don't understand exactly why Jimmy took as much time as this to say the same thing everyone's saying about the doucher dentist. There hasn't been a more unifying story since 911 and he added nothing except of course the tired slag that big game hunters are insecure about their manhood....yawn. NOBODY is taking a different side than that this guy's an asshole.

I don't hunt big game and have zero interest in doing so but I have an open enough mind to understand that other people do other things than me. If it's legal and on the up and up I'm cool with it. The problem is that non and anti hunting folks vote on legislation with emotion and not thought often over high profile stories like this one. Baiting bears and running hounds was banned in my State. If one bothered to actually put their head inside of the experience for a fucking cocksucking second!!!!YES, it pisses me off, they'd realize that if you bait, not only is it a huge effort that takes weeks of scouting and pre-baiting every single day to get them using it, it may be many long days starting in the dark before the bear you want comes in. When a sow with cubs comes in, you wait 'em out and leave. It allows you to cull responsibly.

It's even more so this with hounds. They take a lot of work all year. They're fitted with very expensive tracking equipment and an entire night may be spent tracking. Once again, when you find a non-shooter, you pull off the hounds and the effort is for naught. If you can't see why others would do that or are like me and have no interest, fine, just think about things a little more critically and don't pull a ballot initiative lever to vote your behavior upon others.

A fellow I met online in a hunting forum is amazing to me. He's a military guy who's traveled the globe big game hunting dozens of species. His photo page will blow you away. For anyone who's spent a good deal of time reading about this dentist story and commenting, you owe it to yourself to read this thread from the perspective of hunters. Again, everyone calls this dentist a douche. The fellow I mention goes by Flags and his post is really useful:

Likely that's why. He wanted to make sure everybody was on board first before he stuck his neck out trying to look noble!

The doucher dentist is now having to deal with extradition requests by the Zimbabwe government. I guess the Africans find way more value in this story than anyone else in the world.

I've hunted and fished my entire life. I just think luring a protected animal wearing a tracking collar out of its quarters to kill it is lame. The dentist had other game violations prior to all this. I have no problem sending his ass back to Africa to deal with the consequences.
