Well we really have no clue, no one is ever honest with media anyway. Obviously the money had to be there but Sam may have helped get the ball rolling.

Well I'll tell you what, you and Coug can have the Eagles be your favorite team or back up favorite team, I really don't care, you can say all you want about how great he is, but he stunk and NEVER did anything positive for the Rams, you both can keep believing that every team in the NfL that needs a QB would take him in a heart beat, you can keep saying he has all this talent, maybe someday he will actually prove it!

Hey I will say, " maybe" he had small part in it, but it's not the reason as Coug suggested in the beginning, he said Murray went to the Eagles because of Sammie! Hell we don't even know if Sammie will be their starting QB, so to say he came their because he wanted to play with Sammie is very questionable!

Murray is a Good RB, but McCoy is better, Foles is better than Sammie, makes you wonder if Chip isn't the stupid one?

Rams have struggled for years and now finally seem to be going in right direction, "because" of getting rid of Sammie. Chip has had two decent years and now he is blowing up the team, the Rams only wish they could have had 2 years like Chip just had. Maybe he has some mad scientist master plan, but this seems insane, to have a good team with good players and get rid of so many good ones to pick up question marks?

Easy Vita, I didn't mean it as "in love" like Coug is with Sammies unlimited talent and potential. It just seems that you have taken Coug under your wing, because so many people in here see Sammie differently than Coug does! As a cancer that was holding us back, the Rams finally got it, Coug never will

Nothing to do about love man. It's the way the NFL views his talent. I don't know how much more proof you need lol. If I told you his value like I did a year ago you just say it's my blind love for him wth. Now NFL teams have made it perfectly clear how they view him (not Foles btw) and you still say it's about my love. Do you really think the Browns and Eagles are the only teams that would want him. Talent, expectations, status, draft number, college career and rookie season, this can all be looked at with Sam Bradford but the reality is, he has be a "bust with the Rams". :gaah:

Many can look at all those things thinking he can achieve his potential with us and he may but the reality is, he didn't as a Ram. I was tired of hearing well his rehab is looking good, boy he looks on schedule, with this offense and new OC he will shine, just one more year, PLEASE! I don't know if Foles is better, I don't know if the Rams will win, I don't know if Sammy will have a great finishing career and win 5 Super Bowls, all I know is how can the Rams pay this guy another 13 million but what he has given? As a fan, I am glad we moved on but about 2 years to later for me. :nod:

I can't say I was with you two years ago Blue without hindsight (Who knew he would blow out his ACL in the Panthers game :noidea:

) And then rehab and the preseason ACL re-injury made the hindsight crystal clear but they couldn't move him in that scenario.

All they could have done was cut him.

By not cutting him at that point was obviously the right thing to do, now that we all see we were able to trade for a starting QB and get picks for him.

Yea Smed, I saw some of that literature as well. But I was making the point that only four teams had initial interest, and to be fair, maybe 33% of the teams had initial interest but only two were willing to actually deal. So, again, the claims that a large number of teams and associated personnel in the NFL view Sammie with talent doesn't hold a lot of water outside of some people's liking this guy.

So The Eagles and browns organizations view him as a first-round talent but you think the rest of the NFL there's this huge drop off on the way they view his talent? I find that highly unlikely.
