What teams will be very surprising this season?

Agaian...what? "Anything less is not a failure and tne vast majority of Gatlor fans are not expecting that". It is time to remove that 8" trophy your son won tnis season from tne center of the fireplace mantle that says "You will alawys be #1". They didn't score a goal and finished in 47th place. It is a new season and you team spends more then 90% of the rest of the schools in tne same classification. Please dispence with the excuses until the Gators lose at least one to someone with at least half your teams resources.

I'm sure the defense will be just fine, but for the Gators to improve, the offense has to improve. I think the OL will be good, but three factors will determine the outcome of the Gators' season. Matt Jones or Mack Brown will need to continue the success of the ground game. QB Jeff Driskel needs to continue to improve in every phase of his game. And most important, IMO, receivers coach, Joker Phillips, must be able to teach the offense to his incoming freshmen in a timely manner, so that they can contribute to the improvement of the passing game. DeMarcus Robinson is a highly-touted speedster that can stretch the field, and has good hands, but Ahmad Fulwood has the size & speed to go up after the ball and make those "physical" catches. If Joker can get these two guys ready, the passing game could start clicking, once again. We'll just have to see what happens.

Texas fans WANT Texas to finish with the title......but I know NO Texas fans EXPECTING it. The national media has us pegged at 4th in the conference.

The only people expecting more are people such as yourself. There is not one Texas fan I know that expects more than that......we WANT more than that. What we expect is that if we do indeed come in 4th, coaches will be fired.

Mack is 2 for 15 or 2 for 16. Hard to expect a title, when the program you root for wins one every 8 yrs.

I've seen 3 people pick Utah State as a team that will be surprisingly good. They were pretty good last year... that's why Wisconsin hired their coaching staff. They're rebuilding now.
