Listening to Chinander doesn’t give me any confidence at all in the defense, it was pretty low anyway to be honest

Guys I work with say that we won't Luke his defense and that he could be gone in 3 years.

From what I have seen I like his defense.

Maybe he’s just not grate with cameras on him idk, he just seems pretty concerned but tries to say positive coach talk instead

With the hurry up and big play offense they say the defense could be on the field 80 snaps.
Need to rotate a lot of guys to do that.

Iirc Ohio st scores like every 3rd play on us, that game won’t be so bad

The defense was horrid last year, so my expectations aren't very high this year. We'll soon see if it was the X's and O's, or the Jimmy's and Joe's.

anyone want to explain to me what this really teaches the kid? maybe it's just me, but seems like you'd want a tunnel to the cut point to teach the kid to stay low. then I'm guessing the bags to work on keeping your feet up to maybe make guys miss on ankle tackles? then the cut at the end makes sense.

Going through the line you have D-linemen reaching for the ball carrier while engaged with o-lineman. Going under that reach makes sense to me.
