Since this will be Bell's last year in Pittsburgh I think they should run him an NFL record 420 times this year.

Wouldn't doubt it. But I'd rather they transition the offense to James Conner. Quit letting that asshat Bell hold this franchise hostage.

I sure hope Conner can be a productive RB. I'm rooting for that kid.

@FaCe-LeE-uS & @SteelersPride

Did you hear about the fan that dressed up in full Polamalu gear & tried to practice w/ the team? Just ran across the article. In it the Pittsburgh-Post Gazette's mentioned.

It's so absurd it sounds like a joke.
Didn't hear what it was for, but definitely some sort of publicity stunt that the coaches allowed. MakeAWish maybe?

Run him 150 times so his value decreases dramatically before the start of next season. Then you might be able to sign him for cheaper. Either that or you wreck his pay day opportunity from another team willing to pay big bucks.

In all sincerity, fuck bell......

Connor has looked damn good with the offense this year so far.
Make bell Connors backup, give the kid the spot!!!!
Lat year Bell's preseason posts were all about how hard he was working to be ready for when he signed his tag and rejoined the team. This year it seems to be all about him dicking around.

The Steelers need to send a strong message and make Bell earn the starting job again. Shouldn't take him more than 2 maybe 3 games or he gets Willy Piped for all I care.

i'm not familiar with Willy Pip .... I've heard of Wally Pipp though ...

In all seriousness, I agree with how Pittsburgh has handled this whole situation ... I wouldn't pay a ton of money to ANY running back with that much mileage ... give me some young guys on cheap contracts and at least one of them will be successful.

Willy, Wally same thing, LoL.

Yeah, the drop off for high mileage RBs when they hit their 30's is very well documented. There are always exceptions though but betting on Bell being an exception is very high risk.
