2nd best in the East

Ibaka is overrated though
I wonder if they can go small with Leonard at the 4 at times....get OG and Green on the court at the same time...or Miles...

a nice collection of wing players- really deep- Kawhi, OG, Green, Miles....thats what you need in the league today.

Again, you weren't going to get equal value on this trade. You did exceptional considering the circumstance.

There are multiple sixers packages i would've taken over it.

But I also value Ball more than the Spurs as well. So the Lakers deals would've been easier for me than the current SA administration.

3rd best starting 5 in the East unless Anunoby takes a pretty huge leap. Toronto has succeeded because of their depth.

Valunciunas is league average and Ibaka is not even that, IMO. Not at this point in his career.

you'll see quite a bit of stretch 4 kawhi with green in there instead of Ibaka IMO.

Valunciunas is better than a league average 5.

think of the other 5's in this league nowadays- and Valunciunas is actually fairly quick at switchign the pick and roll for a guy his size.

Interesting. Didn't know that 4th ID would go up there.

you have been scooped my friend

And Kawhi gets no Lebron in the East. They have a legit shot to win the east, especially with Kyrie injuries and Philly not picking up another AS

Toronto won't have an issue dealing him to LA......LOL

Unless, Magic just wants to wait till next summer.
honestly i could see LeBron losing his shit if they struggle out the gate in LA. If its January and they are not winning at a level acceptable to LeBron he is going to be in Magic's ear. Maybe Toronto knows that.

PG: Kyle Lowry, Van Fleet
SG: OG Anunoby, CJ Miles
SF: Kawhi Leonard, Danny Green, Norman Powell
PF: Serge Ibaka, Pascal Siakem
C: Jonas Valunciunas

That is a pretty legit roster right there when you really look at it.
Minor correction: Danny Green is a SG normally. Can play SF obviously, but started at the 2 for the Spurs. He will likely get those minutes at the 2 over CJ Miles.

def......

Toronto actually matches up pretty well with Boston in some ways.

Here is a quesiton for you -

IF the Lakers and Raptors faced in a series (not that they would or will) who would you pick?

Right now I think I would pick the Raptors to be completely honest. lol.

Well it is tricky to define players as 5s today. So if you want to say he somewhat better than average, that's fine. I don't see it but I don't watch that much Raptors ball.
