No...actually those are many of my favorites from those artists...and yes, I did put some thought into it..a lot in fact...and then came to the conclusion that narrowing it down to just 5 isn't realistic for some of the artists. I guess I just appreciate the music more and will continue to show it....but hey, at least I don't list them all into one post...so posting them in separate groups of 5 on each particular day is still within the rules & regs according to the user manual...lol.

:)

All you gotta do, junior...is read between the lines of the fine print...and boom, you're good to go.

See how simple that was??

:peace2:

Btw: can't wait for The Who, Pink Floyd, and The Stones.

:suds:
Look man it was simple you chose to be an ass about it. List your top five songs not google the discography of the chosen artist and list as many songs as you want or like. And narrowing it down to five is very realistic seems everyone else can do it. You chose to detract from the idea to convolute it for no reason other than you were to lazy to put any real thought into. It's a shame that a (assuming here) a grown man would act like this. But you can carry it on I won't enable your lack of effort or maturation any longer.

You sound disturbed...and somewhat unhinged.

Are you gonna be okay, little buddy??

Hopefully you'll still continue with your daily band/artist choices....and don't let me prevent you from enjoying some good tunes.

For me Another Brick in the Wall is Pink Floyd's best song.

Im not the one with issues here, it painfully obvious you're a complete ass and that's fine if that's how you choose to present yourself. It was a simple concept you intentionally ignored.

I have no idea how someone would go about picking the best Pink Floyd song.

Seeing Roger Waters live I'd go with 'Welcome to the Machine'. I've always liked 'The Great Gig in the Sky'. 'Comfortably Numb' has to be near the top. 'Shine on You Crazy Diamond' is amazing. 'Echoes' is up there. 'Dogs' is up there. 'Eclipse' is perfect. 'Another Brick in the Wall' is iconic. 'Wish You Were Here' and 'Hey You' are fantastic the first dozen or so times you hear them. 'Us and Them' grew on me enough to be up there. 'Money' always get turned up when its on the radio.

Most great bands have a dropoff after about 15 songs or so (imo) so my top 5 usually has to come down to mood and what I want to hear. If you listed someone like Radiohead I can make a top 5 easily because I think they have some dropoff.

It can't be done because it's all personal opinion.

The Beatles:

3. Abbey Road Medley (You Never Give Me Your Money/Sun King/Mean Mr. Mustard/Polythene Pam/She Came in Through the Bathroom Window/Golden Slumbers/Carry that Weight/The End)

That's cheating. :D Excellent choice though.

Damn good choice if I do say so myself.

Abbey Road Medley

I considered that it might be cheating, but ultimately, I knew I was going to end up burning two or three of the five on songs from the medley, so I went with it.

Today's band Bob Seger:

Damn! Somehow I missed this.

Still the Same
Roll Me Away
Night Moves
Against the Wind

a 5th is tough for me. Not because I don't know more songs, but because after these four, I don't think I'd put any of what's left above the others. I guess if I was going to punt, I'd go with Hollywood Nights.
