We do, but PG was never very adamant about it. He was also quoted as saying that he was a Clippers fan growing up and that he just wanted to be in LA.

.
Did not see anything about him being a Clippers fan growing up, but did find this:

Here's why there are so many Paul George to the Lakers rumors

While in OKC, George is still talking about L.A.
Hours ahead of OKC’s matchup against L.A., George doubled down on why playing back home was so important to him — citing friends and family — while reportedly heaping praise on Lonzo Ball. He also gave the Lakers the edge over playing for his hometown Clippers team, according to NBC Los Angeles’ Shahan Ahmad, because of their storied history.

Paul George made it clear playing back home means a bit more because of family & friends, offered HIGH praise for Lonzo Ball & said Lakers have history over Clippers, so it's not the same thing.

"Lakers have the history...that's who we grew up watching

Pretty candid stuff from Paul George about L.A. with Lakers and Clippers coming up. Says he has no regrets about Lakers popping up as trade destination when he was with Pacers: IN THAT LINK there is a clip that says this exact thing coming DIRECTLY from Paul George's lips.

Yeah, I don't know how much truth there was to it (apparently not much). But I remember hearing last summer when all of the trade talk was happening that he was actually a Clippers fan growing up.

From Woj:

There's an eagerness among prospective teams to see Leonard on the floor before committing significant trade assets to him. Rival executives considered Leonard a top-five player in the NBA prior to last season, but he didn't play to that level in his brief nine-game regular-season return as he continued to recover from the injury.

There's no mechanism with which to measure the quad injury's impact on Leonard's game until he returns in the regular season, but teams are forced to consider those uncertainties when discussing trade terms with the Spurs. What they're willing to offer in a trade -- and then pay annually on a max-contract extension to re-sign Leonard -- is different for a top-five player than it would be if Leonard's injury turns him into, say, a top-12 or a top-20 player.

There's little, if anything, teams will witness at a national team minicamp that can begin to answer questions about Leonard's fitness to become an All-NBA-level performer again. Still, it can be visual confirmation on the basics.

"His [physical] can tell us he's healthy again, but it can't tell us if he's gone from a top-five player to a top 15, or top 30," one general manager told ESPN.

The Lakers have given up on trying to get Kawhi Leonard. When they first approached the Spurs, they thought they needed him to have a chance at LeBron - that has worked out and LeBron is on board with the young players not to mention he has showed up at the Summer league for moral support and talked to Luke Walton. In short the Lakers do not want to give up Ingram, Kuzma and draft picks for one player. It may be a gamble to bet that Kuzma and Ingram will improve enough to make it worth not trading them - but it looks like a good bet to me - and obviously it appears to be what Magic Johnson is betting - so if anyone in here thinks that is a stupid idea - just go to Magic Johnson's Twitter account and let him know - you think he is wrong.

If Leonard is serious about leaving San Antonio he has to show that he is healthy. Not sure how he could even consider not going to the camp.

he is kind of in a pickle..............

You come off as a rambling cum bucket.
