2-2 with 3 RBI and 2 runs scored. Not too shabby for sure.

Still, they might give it to Bregman for breaking the tie in extra innings.

co-mvp unless NL puts 3 or more up

I'm just not holding out too much hope really. They were gushing all over Houston much of the game and Seattle players pretty much never get the benefit of the doubt in pretty much any sport lol.

Well, that's Joe Buck being his usual ball sucking self. The numbers Segura has are pretty damn good for an AS game.

And Haniger closes it out with a decent run to catch the last out.

What a friggin game this was. Major highs and major lows- but the AL comes out on top thanks to Sergura, Bregman and Springer

Would have been so friggin cool if Diaz had closed it out and Segura got MVP- Still think Jean deserves it with a 3 run bomb and scoring twice. Logic would say he earns it IMO. :D

Not surprised at all that Segura is snubbed.

That's what happens to Seattle players.

It is what it is.

Segura could have scored 6 runs and still wouldn't have even been considered.

It really doesn't make sense they didn't give it to him and why baseball is in the shape it is. You have fans, they voted the guy in..he performed well enough to win the MVP so just do the wise PR move and give it to him.

If Diaz is gonna have an off night, he picked an ideal time. Just watching the first few batters, I'm gonna guess he was just over amped. Not too worried about it

over amped and with an unfamiliar catcher making calls- will turn out to be a good learning experience for Diaz imo - still simmering about Segura getting screwed out of what he earned.

So with Segura almost getting the snubbed and being the last guy in for the AL. He gets snubbed from the MVP by none other than his own team mate. The irony... the Mariners way.

If Diaz didn't blow the save Segury would surely be MVP... at the very least he should be co-MVP. Snubbed.
