So it should be easy. Name 50 better games since you want to talk so much shit.
It's very easy. As I said, pick almost any 50 games from last year. There were hundreds of games played.

How do you comprehend the phrase "top games"? In the normal world, it implies enjoyable games where good football was played. This game was the polar opposite of that.

Damn, I see you missed the part about 50 again. That's really important. Because if I were to rank the top 50 teams(we'll just say according to Sagarin), in which, Texas A&M was 43rd, and said they were a "top team", that would look dumb. But Texas A&M was indeed a top 50 team.

If the Stanford/Oregon State game was a football team, it would be Stetson at best, which was 243rd in the nation.

I don't think you could've watched it, instead just looked at the box score. It was absolutely bad, horrible football.

So you are too lazy to do it. So quit your bitching and stay out of the thread.

He thinks I'm a Stanford homer(for some reason), even though, 3 posts later I have them losing to San Diego State as one of the top 50 games. In a game that was probably as equally as bad, it just had a good finish.

I did watch, I couldn't believe Stanford won. Oregon State fumbled with like 2 minutes on the clock, and could have essentially ran the clock out, and I think Stanford completed a 4th down or 2 on their game winning drive.

So neither team was good at defense at all, yet look at these offensive stats:

Stanford: 4.3 YPA passing, 3.0 YPC rushing
Oregon State: 5.7 YPA passing, 3.4 YPC rushing

I mean, that was just flat out horrible football. Stanford was also missing Love, so you can't even chalk it up to some amazing performance by Oregon State defensively.

Yes, I realize this, you seem to be glossing over the fact, that Stanford needed a miracle fumble by someone who rarely fumbled, had to convert a 4th down conversion(which was a great play) and took the lead with less than 30 seconds left. That was part of my rationale.

And this was against arguably the worst P5 team and one of the worst FBS teams overall regardless of conference. All this game did was show how horrible Stanford is without Love. I'm honestly not trying to dog you for the sake of being a dick, this was one of the worst football games I've watched in years.

Yeah, Stanford sucked without Love. It wasn't a well played game, I've admitted that. It had an unpredictable ending based on what happened in the last 3:00 minutes of the game. I had to look it up, but Oregon State was 97% to win that game before they fumbled, that's pretty crazy they won. Reminded me of Arkansas vs. Tennessee in 1998(with obviously not as much on the line)

The Stanford/San Diego State game was good shit. I watched it from start to finish and it deserves to be on this list.

That's why I'm saying how bad it was and why it doesn't belong. Like I said, honestly not trying to be a dick. It would've been like Arkansas vs Tennessee from 98 if the game was played with those players but they all had sprained ankles or really bad food poisoning.

100% this. There had to have been dozens and dozens of games last year that would've separated these two in terms of being "top games".

Clint Stoerner! Such a bad fumble. He cost Arkansas a shot at the national title.

Guess we'll have to disagree, as there weren't many games with a more unpredictable finish, coupled with that late of a game winning TD.
