uh, they get paid in the NFL.
Oh you didn't know? That doesn't matter. The owners are millionaires hundreds of times over and continue to get rich, and they're all white, so that makes them slave-drivers and the players are just modern day slaves even though many of them are also multi-millionaires.

The NCAA could force it right now, if they wanted to.

Athletics is "extra-curricular." Just establish a new norm of
needing a 3.0 GPA in HS core courses to receive a college
athletic scholarship to be eligible to play as a frosh.

Then you must maintain a 2.8 GPA in college core courses to
remain eligible. That would wipe out 50% of P5 football and
basketball players. They ould be forced to create a rookie league
for 18, 19 and 20 year olds.
Oregon would be screwed for sure with those requirements. Most of their players sign their name with an X and classes for them are taught with pop up books.

“He posted his opinion with a lot of fact”

I’d love for someone to point out the factual statements in his poem

I'd like to know as well. Must suck for college football players today to get a $100k + education (factoring room and board) and not having any student loans unlike your typical college student that racks in thousands of dollars in debt.

Free food, free clothes/shoes, free easy tail. It is so horrible being a college athlete.

It really is. If there was just some way that Lil'Jordan could escape the clutches and oppression that college football offers.....I mean, forces upon student athletes.

The struggle to get college girl tail only gets harder as you get older.
Assuming he doesn’t subject himself to the torture and dehumanizion of the NFL.

I think the NBA is getting their with the G League. Of course there is also the overseas route as well. I honestly think it's more beneficial for the one and done players to do a year in college basketball, because all that exposure could lead to more off the court endorsement opportunities, when they enter the league. Guys like Trey Young, Marvin Bagley etc are household names by the time they enter the league. Going overseas or the G League route could hurt your potentially marketability because of the lack of exposure.

The NFL is a different animal, because the gap between high school and the NFL is the biggest of the professional sports. I'm wondering if a couple of these new start up leagues could potentially serve as a minor league system so to speak. But then again, if you're one of the top high school prospects, would you rather go to USC, Ohio State, Alabama etc, or play in the Alliance of American Football league for example.

Pretty much agree with everything you typed. This still doesn't explain why the NCAA gets all of the heat, while the NBA and NFL get off easy.
