keep all of your trade rumors and speculation to this thread.

I know we’re all very excited about the end of July coming up. Most of us are expecting at least 2 trades and we could see as many as 5. We have an amazing opportunity to shorten the rebuild and pay for our “sins” of trading prospects for help as contenders the last 7 or 8 years.

Let’s make some deals.

Could I please get a sticky for this thread?

It should last a good month or so.

Don’t be fooled by Gearrin’s passable numbers. Dude is worthless. And NEVER let him come in with inherited runners. He showed an uncanny knack of always appearing to allow inherited runners to score, then tightening up to prevent his own runners from scoring.

Jax was simply a bad signing by the Giants. You may actually be able to get some value out of him.

Bahr is a prospect who has been on the rise for the Giants this year. He has been getting a lot of attention from the Giants prospect hounds. He was pushing top 10 list status. He was a 5th rounder in the ‘17 draft, so he isn’t exactly coming out of nowhere. He was the price the Giants had to pay for you guys to take on the contracts of Jax and Gearrin.

I don’t expect there to be a PTBNL or cash coming back. I think the trade is complete.

We’re prospect hungry.

Glad we could help and thanks for the Giants perspective of the trade.

Maybe a change of scenery would help Gearrin. Guess we’ll see

If Gearrin is used as a 6th/7th inning guy, not as a guy to clean up a mess, he could have value. I just think he was misused here.

Nope. Said they had to notify the players before they released their names.

2 years of control left? I bet its a couple good ones not named Meadows or Keller. GL and i dont see why we are buying... but wtf maybe it works out.

Hopefully you guys at least make the wildcard game or something. I don’t follow the national league much so I don’t know your situation.

We’re glad that kela was dealt. Our team is in terrible shape and needs a young talent infusion.

Kela throws hard and I think he hasn’t blown a save this year so he should do a great job for you guys.

He's blown one, I think it was in one of the A's comebacks

Kela must have had an attitude problem that Daniels thought could not be resolved.

Nice spin job though.

“They trader for someone younger”. Kela is 25, almost near retirement age.

“He’s only under team control until 2021.” Awful because the Rangers don’t ever renegotiate contracts.

“He has a history of injuries”. So do a lot of pitchers.

Kela seems like he's got a huge chip on his shoulder.....And he made some shitty comments on his way out the door.....I like his 'bulldog' approach and his 'take no prisoner' attitude.....But he's now the enemy so the hell with him.
