When did we start adding more players. We got a first from Minny putting Wentz as a starter so Wentz and Barnett or Dak and Zeke. Please. Fucking moron!

Who is better Dak or Wentz?
Dak and Zeke you fucking moron.
Huhhhh?

Well fucking moron, for Dallas to have Wentz they wouldn't have Zeke.

Yes you truly are a FUCKING MORON.
And I'm not sold on Wentz being all that superior.

We aren’t talking about draft position or other picks. We are talking about who is better and Daks 2016 wasn’t close to Wentz’s 2017. Want me to tell you what Jerry would do if we offered Wentz for Dak? Something about a nanosecond...

@PhoenixEagles1 since you keep mentioning others opinions how about this opinion?

Barnwell: Busting myths of Dak vs. Wentz debate

The tough question is asking whether you'd rather have Prescott or Wentz for the decade to come. Honestly, there's not a good answer. We don't have enough information on either player to really get a great sense of how they'll perform over the next decade.

This is all I and many other are saying. After this I'm done dealing with you and your moronic thoughts.

That is true. Maybe he is one of those QBs that don’t deliver in the playoffs. Maybe he gets injured every season... I’ll admit to that. But he just simply is better than Dak.

Once again you are wrong...and once again you're a dipshit. A derpa derp dipshit.

Deep down no matter how much it hurts you know 100 percent who you wish the QB of Dallas was if you had your choice between the two. We both know this
Now you know who I wish was the Dallas QB?
That's some reach.

At this time, which is all I've been saying for the last 6 weeks. Dak has played as well if not better than Wentz. Throw in Elliott and I'm pretty darn happy with the 2016 Dallas draft no matter what you think I think.

Well I don't think anyone felt like they would win the SB last yr either but as you may notice, our feelings has nothing to do with what a team does or does not accomplish....
You could be right on a mere guess and I could also on the same premise....Just sayin'
I agree. What we say really doesn't matter. It's just hard for me to trust any team year to year to repeat success that isn't the Pats. Aside from the Pats, most teams just typically get worse after having such stellar years like the Rams and the aforementioned Eagles just had. This is why I'm not that high on either team. I don't see their offenses catching anyone off guard next year. The Eagles were absolutely ridiculous. Eagles were like top 5 in passing, rushing, defense, and special teams. I don't think that is at all repeatable, especially if Foles is starting most of the season.

Simple question for you.
What were all those professional sites saying last season?

Fucking MORON.
Google "2016 NFL Draft redraft". These are the first 6 returns from after year 1. I'm sure they would be different if done now, but it was 6 for 6. Personally I don't find this stuff as any more than one man's opinion, but it was interesting to see all 6 the same and kind of proves people are too hung up on the "last year"

I am sorry, what are you idiots still arguing about? I am busy staring at this:

Give Cowboys fans truth serum: would they take Foles or Dak? We all know the truth.

Q3qzpWg.gif
We’ve all seen Foles when exposed to more than a handful of games. He can be good in stretches but not a full year. I’ll take Dak.

I didn’t know you equate professional writers, NFL players, sports talk hosts as the comic book version. I know this site doesn’t like link to competitive sites but there’s a popular Dallas one where there are threads right now on Daks struggles, how Wentz is clearly better then Dak and Cowboy fans terrified of giving Dak another contract. You sure don’t see these questions from Philly fans on Wentz.
That’s because Dallas has one of the most fickle fan bases in sports.

I would hope so as much as y’all gave up for him.

Totally worth it especially flipping Sam Bradford into a really good looking young DE in Barnett who made huge plays in the playoffs. Getting a stud DE for him made the Wentz trade not t a big deal.

Daks 2016 wasn’t close to Wentz’s 2017.

I don’t mind you thinking Wentz is far superior but this is just false. You are too wrapped up in TD passes. Dak had a total QBR of 78.8 in 2016. Wentz total QBR last year was 74.4. Dak played 16 games and had fall off games. Wentz didn’t play enough to have fall off games. Philly had 9 rushing TDs last year yet were top 3 in rushing. Wentz vultured a lot of TDs from drives his run game set up. Dak didn’t have that luxury because he had Zeke getting TDs and aging weapons. Plus Dak ran for six himself which is part of his excellence.

Fine, if you think Wentz was better last year that’s cool, but don’t tell me it wasn’t close just because Wentz had a bunch of TD passes set up by exceptional play calling, good weapons, and the run game, especially when a case could be made that Dak was as good or better.

Oh yeah, someone should mention to Carr that a big reason Ben doesn't make those great escape plays anymore is because he plays behind a good offensive line now and not the one held together by paper clips and glue he played behind when he made all those plays.

No, it's because he a fat, lazy pig with no fire in his belly. He almost quit on your team last year and he most likely will this year

Sam Bradford trade is hindsight. It had nothing to do with all that you gave up for Wentz. It was honestly a joke trade that Philly lucked into.

I think a winning season will rest heavily on Foles continuing to flourish in that system....And yes SB repeat is not feasible for anyone in today's NFL.....Too much player/personnel changes every yr to expect that.....I know they do the Pats every yr, but they miss too, even with all their advantages...
Playing in a division that is very weak and ending up with home field advantage every post season where they continually cheat....
Can't take the wins away, so you have to respect their success, but it ain't an equal playing field when it comes to them....

I have gone on record as always saying that Wentz was better than Dak. I have said that the Cowboys offense will go as far as Zeke will take them and that Dak had benefited from having him as his RB. That has been my stance from the very beginning. I have said that Zeke not Dak deserved ROY and that Zeke should have got the MVP votes not Dak. That was all proven when the Cowboys struggled without Zeke but to be fair the offensive line injuries did not help matters.

It appears that some take the Dak/Wentz debate rather personal. I still think Wentz is better. However let's not get crazy here. It is not like Wentz is so far ahead that the discussion cannot be had. It is not like we are watching Manning/Leaf. Dak is going to be a stud. Yes he regressed last year but that is expected of everyone in the second year. They don't call it a sophmore slump for nothing. Wentz is the exception and got much better in year 2. This debate will go on for many years.

So right now the score card is simple.

Round one - Dak
Round two - Wentz
Round three - TBD.
