I think you have to have an actual fan-base before you can have a rivalry.

That place was 75-80% NY fans the whole weekend.

Yup, I'm on the other coast, but I go over for Spring training and the occasional regular season game. It's just a horrendous place to see a game though. Supposedly they're moving in a few years to Ybor city. Still going to have to have a dome, but hopefully they follow the Miami/Houston model

Lasagna has some nasty stuff.....Hopefully one of him or German emerges as something consistent and reliable........JA Happ building up that trade value...Beating Verlander will open some eyes

Brandon Drury being called up for the Boston series according to reports here...Makes sense, I think they face Sale and Price, maybe even Rodriguez, another Lefty........

Ive always been a Bird guy, but I think the clock is ticking on him...If they insist on keeping Walker around, and Drury plays well, may just be a matter of time for Bird

Yeah, he looked really good last night, Joe West notwithstanding.

I thought it spoke volumes when they pinch hit Walker for Bird late. Boone appears to be losing confidence-he can get in a groove and start torching the baseball, we know this because we've seen it before, but I think everyone's getting tired of waiting.

I didnt even see that....pretty awful decision considering Walker is more useless than usual from the RH side.....But maybe it was more a statement than anything else

Hoskins is a good player though, I'd almost keep him if he was on my team in fantasy as a bench player at the very least.
