I think Sean Mannion will do fine in Goff's absence with Gurley, that OL, Cooks, Woods & Kupp in tow.
Don't believe me, just ask @mrwallace2ku.
Wally will confirm, Sean will unseat Goff if Jared is out for any length of time.
Seriously, Sean looked good enough for a lot of us Rams fans to go forward before the trade up to the No. 1 pick two years ago.
Acquiring Sean McVay, I'm not so sure with the other talent we've acquired in the short term, if the trade up was our best bet. Mannion is an accurate passer and the PAC's all time leader in passing yards, a league where Goff's tenure followed Sean's.
Look, I'm not wanting a QB change, I'm happy with Goff and want him as our starter, but if he goes down, I think the league will be quite surprised by the 4th. year QB from Oregon State.
FWIW, Jeff Fisher drafted Sean, and while he didn't know shit about how to run an offense, he did know what to look for in a QB prospect. This year showed us all with his his three QB's he had on his team in his last two years as HC in Foles, Goff & Kneenum, so let's not forget about Sean
!!!

How quickly we forget, all those 'other jersey's' in the stadium and the crowd support for the other teams....
Opposing fans teams usually had a short flights, and the Dome would soon be overcome with the opponents cheers once they had a lead!
I can recall several false starts during the SJax years (?) due to stupidity on the Rams OL, but often supported by opponent fans cheers and noise in the Dome.
Oh yeah they were bad at the end. With this D and that crowd it would be fun to watch. Either way it’s gonna be fun to watch
