Yea SteelersPride. It is rapidly becoming apparent that LeBron is going to stay in Cleveland and PG is going to stay in OKC.

Consensus #2?

Not even close. Most were debating Fultz or Tatum as the #1 overall.
That makes Ball as #3 overall at best.
And alot of teams had him lower because of his shooting form and his dad.

Uh, no they weren't. Ball was always considered the #2 pick.

Maybe Magic and Pelinka were actually drafting the players they wanted and not for trade purposes.

You might think he was a reach, but Moritz Wagner is exactly who the Lakers wanted

I'm good with the Lakers draft to a point. They needed 3 point shooting and defense. They addressed the 3 point shooting with Wagner. I would have liked to have seen them address defense with at least one of the other 2 picks.

On your suggestion: we know the Spurs love them some Euros and that's what the Lakers got.

So, maybe they look at at it as "we got a guy the Spurs may want in a trade and if they don't...we addressed 3 point shooting"?

Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk is a pretty good three-point shooter as well. Since Bonga is going to remain overseas apparently, Wagner Mykhailiuk did indeed address three-point shooting.

I know a lot of people hated the Bonga pick because of who was on the board but the kid's a 17 year old 6'10 PG. It's a bit like drafting Doncic when he was 17.

Wagner does remind me of a Bonner with higher basketball IQ, better passing and better ballhandling.

I agree Outlaw. Magic likes Bongo for the very reasons you stated and he is going develop the kid for the future. I have even read an article that has comparisons to KD when KD was in high school.

Magic said he would step down if he strikes out in Free-agency next two summers. Wow
