Pitching staff quitting?? But some on here say we have a "very good" bullpen. I don't think so. Our pen is "average-decent" but it's the Manager and the way he screws with the pen that make it absolutely suck sometimes. The Manager takes an average bullpen and turns it into a disgraceful sucky bullpen.

..forgot.. a smoke a.joke ......... a crusader in a cloak.lol.lol

mariners pen is in flex right now ...bad time really.......but we are seeing the mariners.. exposed=weakness

seager and Zman..need hitting help........or go home and rethink there life(star wars..lol)

Picking up Gordon was a great piece to add, but to be honest the biggest difference between this year and last is nothing more than health IMO. They've had a few dings this year and some short stretches without key players, but NOTHING like last season.

How many different pitchers started at least one game by this point last season? Hadn't they set some sort of record for that as I recall? They have had a couple of nagging things from guys in the pen, but nothing even close to what they had to deal with last year.

They aren't much different IMO outside of not having as bad of luck with injuries. Gordon gives you a legit leadoff guy which is something they needed for so many years. Haniger being healthy has added to the hitting. He missed like a month and a half through may/early june last year. When they had him the team played more like they are this year.

They didn't show a lot of drop off after Robby left, but they are for sure feeling it against this type of team and he is a big reason they won't go far in the playoffs if they do manage to reach it. The loss of his bat, and maybe just as important his calm and easy manner even in high stress situations, is freaking huge. He roided away your best yet chance at post season glory folks.

IF they can stay this healthy, they should get back to winning at above .500 clip next week and at least keep pace with the Angels, if not build back more lead.

All most of us have been saying all along is don't put the cart before the horse. It's a long ass season with lots of swings and so many things that can change your fortune on a dime. You just can't take short spells (either good or bad) and project it out to more than what it is at that time. It's a marathon, not a sprint.

Go figure... Kansas beats Houston last night @ MinuteMaid park 1-0 :heh: Would have picked up a game on them yesterday if we didn't crap out last night. Hope we don't make asses out of ourselves on national TV today-wouldn't want to reinforce all those nay sayers back on the east coast. We're definitely outpitched today. :L

I'm sure someone pointed this out already but last week these two teams with the same two starters: 1-0 game.

Last night: 14-10.

Baseball is a weird game.

Having big leads and then blowing them destroys confidence ... M’s are feeling like they can’t win right now, no lead is safe ...

I wonder if Ichiro will try and "cheat" again and put another disguise on and be in the dugout? He did it yesterday in the first inning- he's not suppose to be in the dugout during game play. I kinda f eel bad for him cuz he just can't let go :L

Yankees score 18 runs in 3 games vs M's and follow that up by scoring 1 run vs Rays in next 2 games.

What's Seager's record? Tired of him not moving runners on base :gaah:

Hey look. It’s another 5-0 lead. Let see if they’re gonna try their best to blow this one too.
