Walking LaMarre to lead off the 8th in a tie game should serve as an auto loss

AAron Hicks is up to .256 now

Batting .321 with 5 HRs in June

Are you going to give the guy any credit @DirtDirtDirt ?

Would love to see some splits from Hicks with Frazier and without.

Seems like he's hitting .800 when he's worried about his job.

Nice to see him do something from the right side.

Also,

This team is really, really good. Like historically.

Ill be sick if they move Frazier for 35 year old rental JA Happ, which is being rumored.......German looks like Severino all over again, Id do nothing but maybe bolster the pen even more

This need for a starter is soooo overblown

You trust German down 2-1 on the road in Houston?

Still see him a streaky 4th OF that will kill us too often

If it wasnt for Frazier, Id have to accept Hicks, i just think you have to field the best team you have

But Cashman LOVES Hicks, so I know he's going nowhere

About as much as I trust JA Happ

You wanna talk De Grom or Bumgardner, Im all ears, but I honestly think a German could turn into as reliable a starter as JA Happ or the current version of Cole Hamels

Boomer this morning threw out this deal but I don't think the Mets would take it

Frazier, Andujar, and German for DeGrom.

Thoughts?

I heard it, I would NEVER EVER DO THAT

Its crazy talk, De Grom is 30, the Yankees are trying to build a dynasty, they arent trying to "Steal" one World Series

But I admit, Im a bigger Frazier and German fan than most, and I love Andujar

I just cant trade 2/3/4 players, especially every day guys, that could be core pieces of many great years, for just one pitcher

Cant do it

Its like if you go back to the 90's and trade Jeter and Posada or Bernie, or some of that

I had no idea how old DeGrom was until yesterday. Really thought he was 27 or 28 at most.

Factor in that he's a Met and he can get injured shaving or brushing his teeth......I want no part of a deal that gives away youth, I've seen this before.....Nasty has lived through it as well.....

And being the Mets, they will finally break the bank on De Grom

A 30 year old, 7 year $200 million deal, on a total rebuild

Im sure that will go well

I look forward to watching deGrom going 7-18 with a 1.88 era......
