Based on the quantity of players the Celtics have brought in and continue to they may be looking to aquire a second round pick from someone. Looks like there are some good defensive guards in the late first round early second

Melton seems to be a guy high on their list.

But if they take Grayson Allen, they'll need to find their D elsewhere.

Idk if they'll be able to buy a pick high enough fro Frazier or a Jevon Carter. Carter may have a surprise fall like thornwell did last year though. Just wish he was a twinge longer.

Bagley is a safe pick. Seems very un-Kings like.
I don't trust his defense or shooting, even if he shot well from 3 he also shot under 63% from the line. The motor and rebounding are good but I'm not sold on him as the #2 pick over Luka.

I'm so sick of Givony and have no reason to believe him.

I read the same a few days ago. This is the third year in a row guys have just refused to cooperate with the Kings.

pretty fun to be a team that got to the NBA Finals AND have a lotto pick.....

i think of teams like the Nets and Lakers that were out of the playoffs and dont even have a lotto pick--- or the Heat who got routed in first round and have no picks at all. That sucks the big one.

I'm not trying to deny that the Kings have been a joke in recent years and even now their FO is questionable, but if you are a projected top 5 pick are you seriously gonna say no to the Kings in favor of "great" destinations like Atlanta, Memphis, and Dallas? It's really stupid. I like the Kings' young players more than any of those 3 teams and even if the Grizzlies or Mavs try to push for the playoffs next season it's very unlikely. Their runs of good-great years are over and now it's likely rebuild time. Be happy you got drafted as high as you did, take your money, and play basketball.

Weird that I’ve heard Memphis is having the same problems as Sacto.

It’s like these kids still think the Grizz play in Canada.

I'd expect more issues for Atlanta than Memphis. It's like the players don't realize that going top 5 or even top 10 means you're most likely getting drafted by a bad team. Not everyone can get drafted that high and to a significantly improved team like Philly or Boston.

FINALLY a troll post outta you...

was beginning to think you were sick...

I think teams like the Cavs that have only one trophy to keep all those dust bunnies and cobwebs company. Lotta dead ends and broken dreams over the decades, which has GOTTA suck for their fan base...

Trae Young has all the makings of being a bust IMO.

NBA Trade Rumors: Grizzlies Gauging Interest in No. 4 Pick, Chandler Parsons

NBA Trade Rumors: Grizzlies Gauging Interest in No. 4 Pick, Chandler Parsons

The Memphis Grizzlies are reportedly willing to part with the No. 4 overall pick in a potential trade, but a package would have to include Chandler Parsons, according to Michael Scotto of The Athletic.

The team is currently gauging interest for a possible deal.

Parsons is owed $49.2 million over the next two seasons to complete the four-year deal he signed in 2016.

Although the 29-year-old had been a key contributor with the Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks earlier in his career, he hasn't been as effective with the Grizzlies. Injuries have limited him to just 70 games over the past two seasons, and he is averaging just 7.1 points and 2.5 rebounds per game in this stretch.

This is clearly not a contract teams will rush to pick up, but the No. 4 pick certainly has plenty of value.

Even without knowing what will happen with the first three picks, the top of this draft features high-upside talent. Bleacher Report's Jonathan Wasserman lists Luka Doncic, Deandre Ayton, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Marvin Bagley III as the top four prospects, while Mohamed Bamba could also be a star in the post.

While four of those five players are centers who might not mesh with Grizzlies star Marc Gasol, that alone shouldn't affect the team's strategy.

On the other hand, the team has a lot of needs after a 22-60 season and could potentially find a trade that fills more holes by dealing away the early draft pick. The squad's only other draft pick is No. 32 overall.

I seriously doubt that happens. Memphis can get a really good player with that pick.

The NBA draft is the biggest crapshoot. You have at best 1 year to look at the top talent. Even if you are able to a good idea of the talent level you still have no idea of the most important part of the player. Their character. Was their goal to be drafted and get a huge payday or was their goal to be the best in the league? Once they have all the money and fame to get anything they've ever wanted will they still have the desire to work hard everyday?
