If Cleveland lands Kemba for the number 8 pick and George Hill, that'd be impressive.

I can't imagine that would be enough. Charlotte will be looking to dump salary in any Kemba trade (Batum, Marvin, etc).

That is true. I don't know what Cleveland would be able to give up to get Batum; it'd likely have to be a Love for Batum traded (included). Which if I'm Cleveland, I don't want to do that then, despite Love's inconsistencies and injury history.

Sad day. I was fan of his during his college years. The MJ comparisons are a bit exaggerated, but he was an impressive athlete.

Yeah, I remember when that happened. Was really shocking and sad. Used to play a lot of pick up basketball back then and I remember hearing the announcement on the way to the courts.

Very quiet and very little basketball was played that day. It was mostly just the regulars standing around talking about it.

Another CBB star that was gone too early was Hank Gathers.

Completely different circumstances however, as Bias' death was self-inflicted. Gathers had a heart issue.

I remember Bo Kimble's tributes that season, including shooting his free throws left-handed. You never expect to experience death on a basketball court, truly tragic.

You missed my point entirely. I wasn't trying to compare the 2. Just saying both were awful situations.

Although I still remember Kimble's tribute to his late friend. It's something that will stick w/ me forever.

Sorry, wasn't implying that you were comparing, just making (a probably unnecessary) distinction.

they couldve made that deal at the trade deadline EASILY....Kemba and Batum for a bunch of cap filler and the brooklyn pick.
