When Texas lost out to Oklahoma in the 2008 battle of the vote, and pollsters sent Oklahoma to the CCG, which was a stepping stone to the NCG, Mack Brown paid good money to some BCS Guru to come in and tell them what happened and what they could do to fix it.

Conclusion: Play better OOC games like Oklahoma always did.

So, they started to schedule better. Instead of playing Rice, North Texas, and Wyoming, they upgraded, and immediately started loosing a big chunk of those games.

Thanks Mack.

There you go. Oregon’s finally ranked highly again.

Texas and WVU have the biggest balls in the Big12...

because they learned how to over-inflate them from Tom Brady's former ball boy.

Having a thread made for you where you are credited with having huge balls?

I mean, if the person who made the thread weren’t a West Virginia fan you might have a point.

Thanks Mack.

Nice try, you scheduled 1 P5 (Washington) as did Texas (Arkansas) in 2008. OU got the vote because Stoops old staff members were head coaches at the time and voted OU higher.

It didn't come down to 1 year, it came down to the perception of who schedules better throughout the years, which was Oklahoma by a landslide.

And the vote wasn't even close in 2008.
Texas got left in the dust, and Mack didn't have any answers.

Oklahoma should play Michigan in a home-and-home. Damn, they've played ONCE....a 14-6 OU victory in the 1976 Orange Bowl. OU's number of meetings vs the other 7 blue bloods:

Texas--112
Nebraska--86
Notre Dame--10
USC--9
Alabama--5
Ohio St--4
Michigan--1
