Those are the three players in the starting line up that were drafted by the Warriors

Iguodala - was drafted by Philadelpha
McGee - was drafted by Cleveland
Durant was drafted by Oklahoma
Livingston was drafted by the Clippers
Knick Young was a loser that played for the Lakers, but I don't think he was drafted by the Lakers - he came in a trade
Zaza Came from Cleveland
David West - from Cleveland

Who else did you have in Mind? I don't doubt that there was fourth - but
looks like he is gone if that is the case

Holy. Fuck. You are dumb.

Those guys you just listed are supporting players.

It's harder to draft stars in this league - this is the point I was making. In 4 years the Warriors drafted 3 all stars; one of which is a top 5 player that was on a favorable deal that allowed the Warriors to sign Durant within the cap.

How in the fuckiest of fucks do you not get this?

What went on in your brain housing group when you were typing this up?

You said there were four - I counted 3

Since you are the one claiming to be smart - Name them.

If one of them was traded or something -that's fine - I just want to know you
who you are talking about when you say there are four. Your original statement
was that the fours have four all stars on their team that they drafted. I counted
3. That was impressive.

Sure if you're as smart as you say, then it will be an easy task to name the four players
on the Warriors team - that were also drafted by the Warriors. Surely you can do that

He never said 4 players, he said 4 years.

And the 4th player was Harrison Barnes. Not an allstar, but not a miss either.

Other contributors drafted by GS include:

McCaw, Looney and Bell.

Doesn't take away from what I said which is this

They signed some players along the way and made a few trades - 100% of that did not come from the draft - It normally takes all of that to get the championship team. The Warriors built their team from a combination of good drafts, signing and trading - all three. That was my point - Most teams need to do all three - The Lakers have drafted pretty good though, so the rest is possible in my opinion - I realize, however the Lakers haters like yourself are going to paint the worst picture possible and to wish it into happening

Yes and no.

Durant, and probably Iggy too don't sign there if not for how well they drafted.

That's my point. Golden St. is lightning caught in a bottle. They're a combination of sound draft moves with some luck along the way. The irony is that if it weren't for Steph having ankle issues early on in his career, Golden State wouldn't be in the position they're in now. Because Steph playing like this before signing his rookie extension, would've received max value which would not have allowed them to sign Durant under the cap. It also likely would've allowed Lebron a possible split if not series lead with the Warriors in these last 4 years.

But the above was my point in trying to duplicate what Golden State essentially did - you need a lot of luck to go your way along with drafting your star players while making key free agent decisions.

Regardless, I don't care how my team gets titles so long as they get them.

........aaaaand this is the risk of not trading for the guy you want.

I have been saying for months that he might stay and that the Thunder will give him the max.

The Lakers need to land a good to great player at the start of Free Agency or they might miss on George and LeBron.

I said it last week....

I honestly don't think you get one without the other.

It's going to be both or neither.

Lakers better hope what his girl and parents want plays a huge role in his decision.

That 5th year and extra cash though. Keeps OKC as a dark horse candidate; if Russ ever figures out how to play the team dynamic.

But although all signs have pointed toward George heading to L.A., the Lakers actually don’t appear to be entirely convinced he would sign according to ESPN’s Stephen A Smith. Why? Because the Thunder are ready to offer George a max contract. “Folks are not so sure Paul George is coming to L.A,” Smith said. “From what I’m being told, Sam Presti and the Oklahoma City Thunder are going to back up the Brinks truck for Paul George. They’re going to offer him the max. Because they’re going to offer him the max, combined with the fact that Russell Westbrook shows him a lot of love and they seem to get along pretty well and they’ve got a future together. Paul George is the sentimental type, and as a result it’s going to be hard for him to pull away from that and the relationship with Russell Westbrook.” George is from Greater Los Angeles, and signing with the Lakers would mean being closer to family. That, coupled with the fact his wife also would like to be in L.A, according to Smith, will create a roadblock when it comes to deciding between the Lakers and Thunder.

Who would've thought that George might be the deciding factor in Lebron staying in Cleveland potentially?

It's crazy.....

Imo.....Westbrook hasn't learned his lesson about alienating Dudes on the court.

But, apparently....

He and George hit it off big time off the court.

I think Paul is the most wishy washy guy that I've seen in awhile.

So, would not hurting Westbrook's feelings really influence him?

The extra year helps too.

@trojanfan12

How funny will it be if we have this backwards?

George won't come without LeBron.

But, LeBron WOULD come without George?

Podcenter - ESPN

Sorry @Shanemansj13 and @ChiefsLakers67 ....lol

Things he says he's hearing:
1) Chris Paul is telling people that Lebron doesn't want to come to Houston

2) Chris Paul is saying that Lebron just wants to be in LA

3) People in LA aren't sure Paul George is going to come to LA

4) Paul George is sentimental, may stay in OKC. Has a good relationship with Westbrook.

5) The money is also making PG13 want to stay in OKC

6) Stephen A Smith is not hearing that Lebron joining LA is dependent on PG13

Start around 10:53 and you hear him dive right into this after discussing Kawhi trades briefly.

Probably means Lebron will being better off staying in Cleveland or maybe to Philly possibly if PG stays in OKC.
