I suggested this exact trade a while ago. Hire me as a GM, asap.

I don't get why they would give up the #4 pick just to get rid of Parsons 2019-2020 season.

Love is a good player but not sure how much trade value he has at this point. I would think other teams could offer Memphis something a little more lucrative.

Does anyone else find it strange that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander hasn't done a single draft workout?

Wtf is that all about?

I'm surprised Theo pinson isn't getting drafted on any draft boards in the 2nd rd. He won't be a superstar but seems like a great role player coming off the bench.

Maybe he's already got a promise from a team? :noidea:

I think what's hurting him is he's short. He played in the front court at UNC but he's only 6'5 or 6'6. He doesn't shoot it well at all. He was a good utility forward scrapping on defense and getting rebounds but with his size and lack of shooting, that's gonna be a hard sell for a lot of NBA teams. If he were like 6'8 or so, he could get away with it. But lots of NBA forwards will just shoot over him and plow through him

Jerome Robinson looks like he's been given a green room invitation. I'm starting to think he might be a guy who ends up going in the late teens. Heard he could be a high riser because he'd show well in work outs.

Hopefully someone of quality slips to the Warriors. If not, I'm going back to my original guy, Shake Milton.

I'll be interested in seeing where Keita Bates-Diop & Brandon McCoy end up.

I honestly have trust issues with KBD. Its hard to trust a guy who's been an average player for 3 years in college, not even on draft radars, then all of a sudden has a huge breakout senior year. It's possible that everything clicked for him, but I have my reservations.

These were his numbers from his junior year:
9.7 PPG
5.2 RPG
1.3 APG
1.3 BPG
0.2 SPG
50% FG
20% 3PT

Then these were his numbers last year as a Senior:
19.8 PPG
8.7 RPG
1.6 APG
1.6 BPG
0.9 SPG
48% FG
36% 3PT

Read an interesting article this morning.

Don't sleep on De'Anthony Melton out of USC. He lost his sophomore year because of the FBI investigation into college basketball.

USC ended up not playing him at all because of it. So he left school to prepare for the NBA.

Apparently, he has impressed enough in workouts for NBA execs that he looks like he may be a late first round pick and may well have been a lottery pick if he had played last year.

His jr. year he only played in 9 games due to injury. Of course I hope he has a good NBA career though.

I thought KBD got better each year @ Ohio State. His jr. year he only played in 9 games due to injury.

Yeah, I'm sure you've seen a lot more of him than I have, which for me is about 80-90% youtube videos and a couple games here and there.

For me his measurables jump off the chart, but when I watch him play, IMO, he seems like he's a bit heavy footed. Am I just looking at the wrong videos of him? Do you think he's a 3 or more of a stretch 4 type?

Just looked on nbadraft.net and they have Jerome Robinson jumped all the way up to 18 to the Spurs. Holy hell that would be a huge jump from where he was considered going a few weeks ago.

Has Gary Trent Jr. mocked at 28th to the Warriors. Wouldn't be mad at that.

He's 6-7 & 236. I see him as a 3. Maybe a 2 @ times in the right system if he has a reliable outside shot. I've never been good @ guessing what college players are gonna do @ the next level. I've seen plenty that I thought were gonna be good (Pervis Ellison/Danny Ferry) & plenty that I thought would struggle in the NBA (Mark Price/Steph).

Gary Trent Jr? Holy shit I guess I'm getting old(er). I can remember his dad playing @ Ohio U. He was called the Shaq of the MAC.

I though Evan Turner was going to be amazing and at the time would have taken him over John Wall. But in my defense though I also thought that Boogie was the #2 and Wall was #3. So at least I knew Cousins was going to be good, lol.

Evan Turner's another great example. Do you remember Ed O'Bannon @ UCLA? He's another one I thought would do good in the NBA.

That seems like a huge risk for the Suns. IMO, given this is their 1st No. 1 pick, I would expect that they are going to go chalk and take Ayton. They really have to.
