^ Yeah there were earlier reports of him having to see Dr Andrews which is never good.
This might force the Pirates to extend Cervelli.

Mock drafts I have seen all mention College starting pitching with one mentioning a reliever.
Out of all the "mock" picks TJ Zeuch intrigues me since it seems he is a lot like Glasnow, it has nothing to do with him being local.

Austin Meadows broke the Altoona Curve hitting streak record at 23 games. He has at least one extra base hit in 18 of those games. His triple slash right now is an absurd .305/.357/.585. And that's all held down by an abysmal first couple weeks out of his eye injury.

Meadows homered in the first to extend the streak to 24 games.

Kevin Newman in the three games since returning from being hit in the face with a pitch is 7-11 with a double, triple, home run, and walk. He should be in Altoona himself pretty soon.

Glasnow had an 0.79 ERA in June, only allowing nine hits all month. That's amazing.

Unfortunately, he's also walked 20 batters in his last 23 or so innings. That's not good.

Kevin Newman is on fire in AAA. He might get a shot at wresting the SS job away from Mercer soon. Still no power, but hitting for average, drawing walks, and stealing bases. Would fit nicely in the leadoff spot if he can translate it to the Majors.

Taylor Hearn has also turned it around. The Ks are still there, and his control has improved steadily.

Keller is Keller for the most part, so that's good.

Hayes is finally heating up in AA, and still a great defender.

Cal Mitchell is looking like a steal. The kid can absolutely mash.

Oneil Cruz can also mash, but the SS experiment doesn't seem to be working out.
