Silly, I congratulated you too early last night. I congratulated you when the Pirates were leading 8-5 in the 8th inning and I went to bed but it sure was nice to wake up this morning and read about those 5 runs the Cardinals scored in the bottom of the 9th inning.

there was no way Hurdle should have had his outfield playing a no doubles defense against a kid that was called up from AAA!!! UGH!!!

Kolten Wong....good for him, he even said in the on field interview that he wasn't playing worth a damn and everyone knows it....he barrelled that pitch up perfectly. Also, Gomber's first three pro innings were scoreless.

Pirates get both sad and good news today. For the sad former pitcher Bruce Kison who pitched in the first night game in world series history has passed. Kison know as bulldog, won 2 rings with the Bucs.

Now the good Pirate rookie Auston Meadows wins rookie of the month for the month of May!

Hey Buddy, All I can say is Bud Norris blew a save but got the win thanks to Wong and I'll take it!

Gomber was indeed impressive today and we need more performances like that from our entire bullpen.

the local Fox network was supposed to show the Cubs game but instead they stuck with womens golf!!!

I just read in todays paper that the Pirates are paying Rodriguez $5.6 Million for a .173 hitter this season.
My question is why are they paying him so much and why is he playing so much?
ATTN: Hurdle play your best players and if the others on the bench don't like it then too bad!
