^Yeah, I would probably try Tatum at PF instead of Hayward and if the opponent dictates you go bigger, there's Morris or Baynes but it seems Stevens wanted to go small.

Let's get this thread back on topic. Jordan is the GOAT. LeBron is #2.

I am actually completely cool with anyone that says that Jordan is the GOAT. Or Kareem. Or Wilt. Or Lebron.

To me, the difference isn't big enough to matter all that much.

Yep, there's no scientific definitive way to 'prove' who's GOAT. All you can say is there's a handful of players who were the best of the best

I agree but if we want to really look at a player that can do everything at an A level, it’s Lebron and MJ is right there with the A++ scoring ability. MJ couldn’t guard the 1-5 positions though like Lebron can and Lebron’s passing ability is like a great PG. He might not be GOAT at this point in time but the best all-around player we have ever seen.

I can only go by the players that I actually saw and the best I ever saw was Jordan.

One of the more honest statements you've made on SportsHoopla.

So, your list is made up of some greatest players to ever play (minus Dirk).

Everybody has an option and everyone is correct in their minds... SO, let's count the rings and see who was the greatest of the great... No debating the rings..

Rings are the result of great teams... By the way Dirk has scored 31,183 points in his career and ranks 6th all time.

Dirk is so random though... He's more like top 20 maybe...

Not even thinking more than 2 secs I know Bird, Magic, Shaq ... hell even Duncan and Dr J...
Dirk has scored more points than any of them.

Sure it does.

Really?

Because many of the guys you have him ranked ahead of averaged more points per game, were better defenders and better playmakers.

Using career scoring as justification for a guy who has played 20 seasons is homerish at best.

Dirk is a great player. But no chance he is top 10 all time, let alone top 5. He might not even be top 20.
