Oh, I agree.

The years and the dollar amount vs. The risk of constant injury is just absurd.

But, if you factor in production, Noah and Deng are worse.

Iguodala defintely should not be on this list either.

He is a key reserve on a championship team. His $ isn't taking away cap space because they are already over. It is simply $ spent on an essential cog. Houston proved how essential in Tuesday.

For the same reason, I don't think TT's contract is that terrible. The Cavs overpaid him, but it isn't like they could have spent that money on another player.

If LeBron stays I fully expect Clarkson, Hood if he is back, and Nance Jr. all to make much bigger impacts next year.

Yeah, Clarkson's deal looks worse right now than it is likely to next year when he knows the system, his teammates, etc.

Difference is, Jeanie realised what was going wrong and fired the two guys responsible for, amongst other things, those bad contracts.

Other owners who have handed out bad deals (Cavs) and crippled the chances of them improving in the next couple of years are praised by a certain moron...

Go figure.

To be fair to said moron, he kind of had to. Those moves had to be made to maintain their contending status.

They are biting them in the ass a little now and will be for the next couple of years.

But it's also fair to say that, without them, they wouldn't have made all of those finals or have a title.

I can’t believe Wesley Mathews isn’t on this list.

Go back to the deandre Jordan negotiations, Mark Cuban and company met with Wesley Mathews and he was probably going to get 3 years 30 million. Mark Cuban wanted to “ reward” him for committing so early, thinking it helped give them momentum in the Jordan chase. Cuban promised that after they give deandre Jordan a max deal, Matthews would get “ what’s left over”.

Jordan re-negged on the deal and Cuban stubbornly gave Matthews a max deal. A guy who just ruptured his Achilles the season before.

Nance Jr. really impresses me at times. He is such a hard worker, he is agile but also big enough to guard multiple positions....

Honest to God i thought Hood was going to be a great acquisition when it happened but the combination of him being SO passive, some injuries he had, and the shortened time frame really hurt him and his confidence.

The CAvs really could use Clarkson and some instant offense right now.

I thought Hood would be better also.

I'm a Nance fan, as he brings that lunchbox mentality. He's always going to work hard, but for some reason he shows NO confidence in his offensive game. If someone can get him to buy in offensively, he could really become a key rotational player if not a starter.

Deng's is definitely up there, but is made even worse by the decision between Deng and the Lakers to just not play him. He still has value, but is seen as basically being out of the league as the Lakers move forward with the kids.
