they ran that set over and over and over. This explains why its hard to have a PG or SG in this league anymore who is 6'4" or smaller
it seems the ideal team is a bunch of 6'6" athletic as hell guys. lol...

if you are under 6'2" or over 6'11" you better have other-wordly athleticism --- because if you cant switch and do at least a decent job- you become a big time liability defensively.

guys are just too fast nowadays and the rules dont allow for you to get as rough with guys--- if you cant switch the pick and roll you are in some deep shit.

its one of the reasons why I was not too upset about taking Hill's huge contract on.

if you are under 6'2"

I am thinking 6 - 4 or 6-5. No one below that has a chance in hell to defend the better teams half court sets

Well this series took a turn rather quickly.

for a minute there, there was hope we weren't going to see GS/Cavs part IV.

Not that I expect a rational response from you but which players in the history of professional sports chose the path of harder resistance?

Well we can strike those two teams off the list.

:L

Well let’s see I don’t remember magic, bird, MJ joining forces like bitches. Actually I didn’t see that much happening back in the day at all like have seen from guys like DurCant and LeFraud today. Two guys that have had MORE supporting help Than any other player probably the last 10-15 years

Stars used to want to take each other down and compete not join forces and create super teams

i do think the Cavs will win the series now---- but the Celtics are undefeated at home in the playoffs.

The Cavs obviously have to get one there to pull it off and get back to the Finals for the 4th straight year.

I tend to think they will- but who really freaking knows-- on a night to night basis its anyones guess which Cavs team will show up.

They didn't "join forces like bitches" because that wasn't an option back then.

Do you seriously not understand how free agency works today compared 20 and 30 years ago?

hey--- i kinda get Miami--- LeBron going to a team that already had an NBA champion in Wade and multiple all star teams--- and Bosh- a guy that had been to the playoffs led a team etc....The Heat had won 47 games the year before

when he came to Cleveland he came to a lotto team, Irving was 22 and had never played a playoff game, Love was 26 and had never played a playoff game. Dion Waiters was 22 and had never played a playoff game.

Now Durant joining a team that had already won a title, had been to multiple Finals and already had a top 5 player in the world is about as cowardly as it gets.

Just saying- its not all just equal.

Well everyone knows Irving was guaranteed superstar from the beginning. Love was putting up ridiculous numbers on Minnesota. It’s kind of a given that’s a superteam if all 3 join forces

hey i dont disagree with you there

im just saying joining a 22 year old and a 26 yeaar that have never played in the playoffs and going to a team that had been in the lotto for 4 straight years is a little different then going to a team with an NBA champion in his prime, another guy who had been to the playoffs before in his prime------- or even worse- a team that had just won a title about 13 months before, had 3 all stars and been to multiple finals...\

can you give me that?

No. It’s bc of Lebron. Lebron is that great. Shit, he can take a team full of scrubs to the Finals against more talented teams. He took Boston Big 3 to Game 7 with a team full of backups. Without Lebron, Love and Kyrie and that team probably doesn’t touch the playoffs. Enjoy the greatness, little guy

I can give you that. But at the end of the day, come on!!! It’s love, Lebron, Irving and 3 point sharpshooters competing in the atrocity known as the eastern conference. A conference where a team like the Celtics missing their two best players can reach a conference finals with some lousy offense to top it off

Why do I get the feeling that we will be hearing you say this about 50 times during the off-season?

it was like an ancient varejao, an ancient marion, dion "i seriously think i am the best player on the team" waiters, and a few other schmucks...a very raw Delly

the Celtics making the conference Finals would be more humuliating if not for the bucks terrible coaching and roster construction.....and Phillies youth and lack of shooting.

I feel like the Raptors prob would have beat either of them. Raptors just got a BAD BAD matchup vs. the Cavs. shit the pacers mightve beat either of them

DoRo needs to accept the end of this Raptor era. I suspect it will take the summer if not the fall. But in our defense Hawk, especially yours, he had his time but now its ours...........and Sixers vs Celtics will dominate the media for the next 5 to 10
