Agree. from a pure titles perspective, if they can get things figured out between him and Simmons and Embiid is healthy, that's a team that could win a title right now.

As I said, the Lakers would likely require some patience on his part. But even though it's not completely necessary anymore, his outside interests would be easier to do in LA. The fact that he already owns homes out here isn't insignificant. But it's not like several players, who aren't on the Lakers, don't have homes in LA.

I guess we'll know in about a month and a half or so. lol

You and I have been agreeing on things way too much lately. It's starting to trouble me. LOL.

@Wamu your worst nightmare right here, lol.

I want it to happen just to get a good ol' fashioned blood feud in the league again.

I don't see it happening, as he would take over Simmons' role. What is Simmons going to do, spread the court?

Good point, but I don't need your facts getting in the way of my blood feud, dammit!

So it comes down to Lebron being super human every game. That is not a recipe for rings.

Isn't it though? They're 2 wins away from the finals. The only thing keeping them out of contention from a ring are the competitive balance killing Warriors. And that's after Kyrie forced his way out and they tried to reload the team at the all-star break.

Of course it isn't ideal, especially as the years and pressure slowly break him down, but to date it seems finals means signing Lebron in the East.

Well a few things on this.

1. There is a pretty good argument that the Cavs should have lost in the 1st round.
2. The Sixers were a debutante and not ready but they will will be that much better next year.
3. The Celtics lost their 2 star players.
4. The Rockets would roll the Eastern Conference champion if it weren't for the Warriors.
5. Lebron has scored 40+ points 6 times in this playoffs. That is expecting an awful lot from him.

This is the first time it has essentially been Lebron and his merry band of scrubs since his first stint in Cleveland. This team is better than those teams but not a whole lot more.

1. Only argument that matters is the final score.
2. If Embiid is healthy
3. Injuries happen. When healthy, some of their current valuable players are going to lose a LOT of PT.
4. Rockets are fools gold. Regular season paper champions. Paul and Harden aren't championship caliber.
5. I agree. It's not ideal, but it's more or less working.

But their dominance has been declining year over year. It is not perpetual.

So... according to the final stats, Boston missed 15 lay-ups and/or dunks in Game 4.

Having to listen to the announcers talk up Cleveland's defense made the sting worse... the Cav's are graded on such a curve when it comes to that end of the court, if they step up from terrible to mediocre then they get rave reviews.

C's have to keep targeting Love and Korver whenever they are on the court... they just have to finish these possessions is all by making the good looks they are getting.

I'm not worried about the C's improving on offense... they should and can and I believe they will.

I worry more about the C's on defense... they have to find a solution to the easy switches that Cleveland is manufacturing when they want and where they want.

Celts did shoot 39% and 41% from the floor the last 2 games.....

Kyle Korver made Jaylen Brown eat leather on multiple occasions

TT did a very solid job on Horford- as good or better than anyone has done all playoffs

i agree- these Cavs will never pass for the Ben Wallace Detroit Pistons, but they have played a lot better defense in the playoffs than they did in the regular season.

Does it count blocks? Lol

Love missed 5 or 6 alone probably.

they ran that set over and over and over. This explains why its hard to have a PG or SG in this league anymore who is 6'4" or smaller
