Absolutely nothing happening. OTA's and mini-camps... Every team putting together feel good pieces for the fans about how swimmingly everything is going with the new FA's and rookies. :gaah:

If I had a baseball team that had been competitive within the last 5 seasons - it wouldn't be so bad. Maybe if I also didn't think the basketball season was completely decided (GS will win and you're gullible if you think differently, IMO).

2 months or so until the first camps open? I guess I'll just have to... ya know... get a life or something for the first half of the summer. What a nightmare :tsk:

Hold on, let me go check the NBA script for this year's playoffs and get back to ya.

Congratulations, you're a Braves fan now. You can start caring about baseball again.

Definitely shitty. NHL playoffs were enjoyable, but the Sharks got knocked out some I am rooting for Ovie to get his ring finally.

Lol. Nah, but I appreciate it. I've waited this long with the White Sox. We're kind of where you guys were a couple years back. That talent will be up in the show soon enough.

Right now, it is literally unwatchable.

If it all flops, I'll get back to you. I can't imagine having to start this over again.

You should enjoy this time of year. As a Bears fan, it'll get worse when the season starts.

I guess you also have Chelsea in the FA Cup tomorrow.

I like basketball, but once that winds down in a few weeks, we enter the sports desert from my perspective. Regular season baseball is actually less exciting than watching my grass grow. Watching my grass grow at least shows me progress from day to day. Watching regular season baseball in May and June is just brutally boring.

Right now is the time of the year in football when your team writers are busy writing up 5'9" 170 pound longshots from Div II East Stroudsburg who got invited to minicamps after tryouts.

No, really, this is an actual example!

Wilson is a quick learner. He graduated last year and played last season as a graduate student in economics. He’s close to his master’s degree already, although his college football career was interrupted for two years after he changed his major and took the 2014 and 2015 seasons off.

What it all adds up to is a mature, 24-year-old with a small body (5-foot-9, 170 pounds) but giant-sized hands, the ability to run the 40-yard dash in 4.42 seconds and proven production at Division II East Stroudsburg, where he ranks 11th on the program’s all-time list with 133 career receptions and 10th with 3,105 all-purpose yards.

So it came as no surprise to ESU coach Denny Douds that Wilson was signed.

“He’s a mature young man who’s goal oriented and knows what he wants to do,” Douds said. “Tim came in like most freshmen, trying to put two and two together. But once he caught on, it was like he had a giant ‘S’ on his chest because he got there in a hurry.”

Wilson’s agent, Sean Stellato, also knew Wilson had more than a puncher’s chance at rookie camp.

“He’s got great traits,” Stellato said. “He’s got big hands, jumps well, and from a character standpoint, he’s got a first-class work ethic. It’s off the charts. The Eagles want mature guys.”

ESU's Tim Wilson hasn't awakened from Eagles dream
