Lot of under 30 somethings are NBA guys and they aren't driving all the way out to Chicago (8 hours), Indy (7 hours) Memphis (7 hours) OKC (5 hours) Denver (8.5 hours) and you get the general gist from there to see games. For a long time I felt KC was kind of a saturated sports market, but if it can pull something off with MLS, MLB, NFL, plus a robust CBB scene, it's probably an NBA team. Arena is already up so that won't be a huge issue. Just a matter of if the NBA is interested and finding an ownership group.

Would give me a more legit following of the NBA than rooting for random Jayhawks in the NBA, mostly Embiid. Lawd knows I am not watching the Pacers every night.
