Nice to see Seager hustling down to 1st on that ground out. I get tired of watching guys "trot" down to 1st instead of busting balls out. Ya never know when hustling just might make the difference.

John Hicks; The Ultimate Mariners Story

So they said last week on TV that Hicks, while with Mariners, had his swing changed by Seager when Seager noticed something. He was then released in try Mariners fashion and has now become a nice player for the Tigers. I wouldn't mind have ing him as a backup C/1B/DH.

0 for 8 with only Romine still in the game. Not sure why he is still around? He is batting .167 and is a lifetime .236 hitter. Not a guy that I give a spot to...and I know he plays different positions but you have to be able to hit a lick still or you are useless in my book. Howie Kendrick plays multiple positions and can still hit. That is a utility guy...or Chris Taylor...
