Cutch resting the knee. He is listed as d2d, but that typically progresses to a 60-day stint with this team.

Did Posey really hit a triple or was there some kind of outfield incompetence that happened on the Rockies' part?

With cal's post the other day about Belt potentially being All-Star worthy, I thought I'd look up the MLB leaderboard for 1st basemen and noticed that Belt is 2nd among MLB 1st basemen in both OPS and WAR. He is behind Freeman in both categories. And Belt is very close in both OPS (.994 vs .988) and WAR (2.3 vs 2.1). Third place in OPS is Abreu (.890) and in WAR is Votto (1.4).

Blach was lucky that 2nd inning resulted in no runs against him. A lot worse inning than the 1st.

I can only assume that Hernandez' infield single got overturned in the 2nd inning.

Can Blach only pitch the odd innings and someone else handle the even ones?

Legit triple.

Posey’s wheels are responsible for all the Giants runs this game.

Belt plays in the most extreme pitchers park in the bigs while Freeman and Votto play in hitters parks.

It SHOULD be hands down...

Gearrin has now allowed 8 of 19 inherited runners to score (2 for 3 today)

I have NO IDEA why Noggin keeps running him out there in these situations, as he has proven for the last two seasons that he is below average in allowing inherited runners to score. NO.IDEA. And you can quote me to AB.
