Agreed.

Ditto for the Celtics.

I guess I have a tough time understanding Cleveland's effort in games 1 and 2. Missed shots I get, but the Cavs team I saw in game 3 played hard. The team I saw in games 1 and 2 did not.

It like when Lebron tells them to turn it on defnesively he can and he does himself. I don’t think this is the right team to toy with, we will see how Game 4 goes

There was effort in game 2, but I felt the Cavs were in trouble when James came out on fire, was exerting a ton of energy, and the Cavs lead at the half was only 7.

I don't know.

They missed a ton of rotations. Some with defenders idly watching. That should never happen in a playoff game, IMO.

Staggering how much better Boston has been at home vs road this playoffs.
My mindset coming into this series was that LeBron/Cavs would find a way to win a road game and Boston wouldn’t.

I think game 2 showed us that us that it might be more diffucult for the Cavs to win on the road then expected.

i just saw this this morning....

ughhh.....talk about a missed opportunity for the Heat, Hornets and Pistons....thats the kind of deal you kick yourself about for years to come.

Wanting to get Justise Winslow, the Celtics reportedly offered six picks – including four potential first-rounders – for the No. 9 pick. The Hornets rejected the deal and took Frank Kaminsky, which has earned them plenty of criticism ever since.

But maybe we should save some admonishment for the Pistons (who drafted Stanley Johnson No. 8) and Heat (who drafted Winslow No. 10). Apparently, they also received Boston’s walloping offer.

And then the 10th pick, they called Riley, and Riley just laughed and hung up on them. Riley was like, “No, I’m taking Justise Winslow. I’ll talk to you guys later.”

One of those picks I believe was Jaylen Brown. One of the other players was Rozier. Rileys fastball is sitting between 79-82.

In Game 2 after LeBron went into the locker room which with what i think was a concussion - the Cavs kind of fell apart....everything came to a stand still. The whole team seam sapped- and when LeBron came back he played like ass.

Tons better then your analysis which amounted to ‘I have no clue what will happen and I’ll give you my typical hindsight once its over’
hey i could have given the cliche, stereotypical, trite, morass of nothing that you gave but id rather not insult peoples intelligence and say such things like- well the role players have to player better etc..

I remember a long time ago watching OJ Simpson on an NFL pre-game show saying- "In order for the Buffalo Bills to beat the New York Jets they have to score more points"......its about on the same level of analysis you gave.

“It hasn’t been revealed precisely which picks the Celtics offered. They had many stockpiled. A good bet is it including the No. 16 pick in 2015, which they used on Terry Rozier. I’m not sure whether Simmons is reporting or just supposing Boston offered the 2016 Nets pick (which became Jaylen Brown).

There’s enough variability in the picks and protections not to know just how good this offer was. But, even near the plausible minimum, it was pretty darn good.”

Ive seen that.
Decisions are made based on mindset at the time.
Even if those slots were offered, no way to know who would be selected.
You cant live in hindsight.

If you could every draft in NBA would be different and Im pretty sure Cavs wouldn’t have taken Bennet 1 and Tristan at 4.

If you say so, but most reasonable people would disagree.
Many times in desperation, James will try, and has suceeded by dominating start to finish himself.
That wont work vs Boston.
That was my main point.

Again, way better then your ‘I have no clue, Ill tell you when its over’ nonsense.

Talk about typing useless words.

dude i just have no clue

I think LEBron and Love and Korver will play well. I think Thompson will be solid and hustle and do some nice things

As for the rest- JR, Clarkson, Hill--- they need more out of all 3 of those guys. Those guys are certainly capable of doing more than they have done.

Ill guess the CAvs are going to win but i haven o clue i have to be honest. I THINK they will win- but we shall see.

so......lets just hope the Cavs tie it up in Game 4.....Boston should be more comfortable in game 4......

as long as the Cavs win Game 4 the Cavs will win the series. I have no clue if they will win game 4 though.

Of all people here, you should be the last to post this.
You are the one always saying that higher lottery picks have way more value then the lower picks Boston offered.

I guess your rules change years down the road if the Heat is involved?

it just seems crazy to be offered 4 first rounders for Justice Winslow or Kaminskey or Stanley Johnson and say NO.

Pistons, Heat and Bobcats have to be kicking themselves--- all 3 of those teams could have used more picks etc....

From whati had read- even at the time- one of the brooklyn picks was involved....i cant believe teams would have turend that down

having said that--- at least Kaminskey and Winslow were pretty highly rated prospects....Winslow fell a little bit

I gotta say--- I have been extremely impressed with Al Horford this playoffs.....a lot of people had been critical of him--- (some even would have preffered whiteside over him, lol)--- but he is such a good fit in todays NBA

he can shoot, he can pass, he can defend a little bit, a great team guy......just a very solid professional player. He is a guy that would make any team better.

Al Horford has prob been the best player on a team that was up 2-0 in the Conference Finals.

say what you will about Big Al- but hes a damn good NBA player and one of the best bigs in the East.

Why don't any of you guys want to play Golden State?

Can't imagine why.

I got concerns that Steph will throw his mouth piece @ Brad Steven & take his eye out if they meet in the Finals. Draymond is past due to go all nutcracker on someone. And KD, well if anyone looks @ him funny he's gonna explode like a nuclear bomb & fuck somebody up. He's a real baaaad mofo. These are the real reasons why they're a dangerous team.

Horford isn't flashy but he's a savvy veteran player.
