Expanse. Fuck you sy fy.

I don't watch it but I read something about there might be other networks interested and they plan on shopping the show. Apparently SyFy had a really arcane deal that prevented them from making a profit off it because it didn't allow for non-live viewership (OnDemand, DVRs, etc). So if you like the show, be on the look out for some other place picking it up. It read like the show is popular, SyFy just had to cut it because of their own fuck ups.

Agreed, I'm assuming it's too costly of a show because the critics love it. If you're into the sci-fi genre it's top notch.

Yeah, it was why I was worried it wouldn't make it past season one. Hopefully Netflix will pick it up.

Thanks for the info. Didn't know about those details. Fans have already started bombarding Netflix apparently.

There might be hope...
Check out post #108 in The Expanse thread:

CHILDHOOD's END & The EXPANSE - tonight (14DEC) - SciFi Ch

I believe CBS All Access streaming service might be a good choice for The Expanse....All Access gained a lot of subscribers due to Star Trek: Discovery.....so, it would seem natural for All Access to have another top-notch sci fi series when ST: D is on hiatus in order to retain it's nerdy sci fi fan base.

All shows end. Only the lucky few get the proper advance notice so they can properly close the show.

I am happy for this news.
Agreed. I think the show was going to have a very limited life span anyways so I'm just happy that it's getting a proper ending.

For Gotham the word is they might get a 13 episode run in order for them to reach the 100 episode syndication mark. I’d be shocked if they get a full 22.

That would be my assumption as well. I figure that they could put it on Fridays at 8 and pair it with a Gordon Ramsay show. Could get a few additional episodes since Friday nights don't usually have a lot going on from January-May.

With streaming, is the 100 ep thing still a thing?

Syndication is still big because it means more money anytime it's played. You never know if USA, TNT, or whatever decides it wants to pick up the reruns.

Speaking of the Office, I just started watching the BBC version or known as the original version, it is better than the US version. Though Steve is better than Ricky.
The US version was much better. I did like the BBC version though. Just too much shitty brit humor.

the Titan games and the enemy within are the only new shows even remotely interesting.

I hope they keep Marlon. It's like the Fresh Prince of Belair all grown up.

We lost most of what we watch in this Purge. And what's left are bubble shows that we were losing interest in anyway.

Sucks Designated survivor got cut.

Another one of my favorite tv shows

Designated Survivor has been getting kinda stale. How is Maggie Q the only FBI agent in America capable of saving the country ever week?
