There are 2 choices in this.

1. Remove the rule.
2. Keep punishing talent and making their product on the field worse because someone smoked a joint.

If federal law and most states law prohibits it recreationally what right does the NFL have to do that? Yes Yes we all agree it should be legal but still it’s not.

Your argument in this is the law is stupid so don’t follow it. That’s not exactly gone to work, anywhere.

You need to work on your reading comp, you sit here and argue day after day with people about shit they never said.

The NFL has every right to make marijuana against their rules regardless of if it's legal or not.

And he will have to pay the consequences for his actions and given what was at stake he should have known better.

But the law is stupid, the NFL rule is stupid, and instead of everyone focusing on his fuck up, they need to focus on the stupid laws and rules that are born out of nothing more than myth and social acceptance.

The NFL should encourage marijuana use, not discourage it.

I quit reading right here since this is factually incorrect. It is 100% about the league rules. If it was not a league rule, nobody would give a shit.

But it is a League rule and therefore he is guilty for not following it.

It doesn't weaken or corrode the NFL of talent if folks get booted because of their rules. That entire
league is formed, operates and survives on competition. In a Ideal NFL World everybody would
finish the season 8-8.

They could give a shit less about employing idiots that will keep them in a negative light with their
fans.

There is no NFL rule that demands a player stand for the National Anthem. Well, last night
they started the Draft by playing the National Anthem. I just assumed it was the last idiot
test for the owners to see. You didn't see any of the potential 1st round draft choices taking
a knee up on that stage...did you?

Their rules are set-up for basically two reasons...To maintain a competitive balance for the 32
league teams and to identify all the fucking fools that are just in it for themselves and want
no accountability for their actions.

I guess if you're a fucking retard who can't follow basic English.

So in your case - yes. For anyone else, no.

This is just some bullshit you made up and has nothing to do with why they have the rules.

I don't think so. But even if it was it makes more sense than trying to wage a "moral" argument
on a message board.

The NFL rules don't have a fucking thing to do with testing players before the draft. It's just some shit you made up.

That's not true...everything they do is to protect their league including the wonderlic.

They know they are dealing with a great many thugs. Before they start handing out millions
they want to know everything they can about them and if their investment will be protected.
They do that thru their rules, by seeing who obeys them and who doesn't.

I don't know how many they invited to the combine but anybody that failed a drug test while
there...failed the combine

:L

They test at the combine....because it's a league rule. The same reason they test other times of the year after they are in the league.

That’s what I thought. You’re too chicken shit to admit your opinion on this is slanted because you toke every day.

Federal law changing wouldn't automatically change NFL rules. They would have to change the rules themselves. Which they can already do, regardless of federal law.

Not complicated.
