The Bucs needed secondary help pretty bad.
Their 2 screaming needs are RB and CB so I tend to agree.

I almost expected this to be Josh Jackson

Buccaneers - Vita Vea - A grade:

All these picks are making too much sense. Where's the Ted Ginn Jr. or Tyson Alualu picks?

The Bucs had the worst pass defense in the league and were also bottom 10 run defense. The D-Line was an absolutely mandatory upgrade and while Chubb was not an option after the Broncos snagged him, SOMETHING has to be done. This isn't exactly a strong D-Line class... and Vea is actually worthy of an early teens pick.

Again, obvious pick is obvious. The Bucs have a HUGE hole at safety but IMO the trench value of Vea is too high to pass up.

I would have taken Jackson if the Raiders had kept their pick at #10. I really wanted Smith.

I think he was gone the next pick and they only gave up a 3rd and 5th to move up from 15 to 10. Great trade by them IMO
Maybe. Miami was the only other team that was a possibility but I don't know

I wonder if we'll see Bradford and Rosen get injured in the same game...

Hope for the best on Rosen, though.

Game? One will trip going down the stairs carrying the laundry basket and other will fall getting out of shower

I'd give them a B-.

They needed secondary help more IMO.

Can't believe the Bucs didn't take Derwin James

Fair assessment. My only counter argument is the secondary class is extremely deep. They can easily pick that up in the 2nd round... The two best prospects (Fitzpatrick/Ward) are already off the board. Take the higher value position in DT and snag your secondary in round 2 (or trade up for late round 1).

I'd be upset if I was a Redskins fan. I get that Vita Vea vs Payne has like a million views on their team board but the Bucs definitely pick blocked them.

Larry Johnson? Who the fuck is that?

Played RB for Kansas City, I believe even lead the league in rushing one season. Pretty sure he's in jail now, got in trouble 4-5 times for beating women while he played, lucky for him it was before the Ray Rice deal. Not sure how that'll help Arizona though, David Johnson seems like a perfectly fine RB.

If Josh Jackson is available, we better take him......but after the Saints performance vs the Vikings......

THAT MAY NOT HAPPEN!!!!
