"Yearly"? Like once a year?

So no, you don't travel.

My point was that for most of that flight you're asleep, which you're going to do anyway. So no, you're not "losing a day", you're spending a night sleeping in a different place. And you gain the time difference back on the return.

There are people working in areas like sales who travel that distance twice a week. I'll fly from London to NY and back for work 2-3 times a month. If I can do it then so can pro athletes making millions per year.

And they get to do it on a private jet.

Again leaving LA at 10am it's already 6pm in London. History shows west coast teams flying to the east coast are already at a disadvantage, now you want to add four hours flight time and 5 time zones. It's not a good plan.

They just need to travel earlier. Fly on Tuesday for a game on Sunday. They don't do that in the US because it adds cost (hotels, etc), but you would have to to make this work. But that's all you have to do.

And I didn't say I "don't like Americans". I am American. I said Americans don't travel (meaning, to other countries), so they're less used to long flights. England is tiny but the Brits will fly to someplace like Mauritius as if it's two towns over.

Doable but still a bad idea in my mind. Also how about start times? Are we gonna be forced to wake uo early on the west coast to watch games. How about the MNG, will they gladly watch at 2 in tge morning London time?

Have fun in London......

Before the Jaguars move to London, they need to change their name officially to the Jagwires. Need to lock-in that pronunciation.

When they schedule London games now, the teams going there have a bye the following week to help them recover from jet lag and lost practice time. I suppose they can still do that for the visiting team, but the London team is going to be seriously handicapped having 8 overseas road games a year.

Is that going to be enough to make London the NFL's perpetual doormat? Maybe. Now, NFL London is a novelty, but would a lousy team continue to draw big crowds year after year? Shit, how many NFL teams are already in that situation?
