He's too old for a long term deal.
He'll be 35 before the end of the season, and has spent 12 years as a catcher.
I'd be fine with keeping him around as long as he's willing and able, but hopefully we learned our lesson about long term deals with older players with Dan Uggla.

When Flowers gets back, we need to give Suzuki a couple of games off. Even when we use Perez, Suzuki has had to come in at some point during the game nearly every time.

Suzuki has earned the primary spot no doubt, but I'm saying when Flowers gets back, give Suzuki those first couple of games off. He hasn't had a true game off since Chris Stewart was optioned.
