I would project round 4, with someone falling in love with his raw ability at the end of Round 3.

Every year I pay close attention to the round of 3, it's really where a lot of players I have going Round 5 (earliest round 4) start to go towards the end of round 3. Teams fall in love with players and may pick late 4th not thinking they will make it back or dont have a 4th and will reach late round 3.

Elway said today he was no sure about picking up Shane Ray's option. One would think it probably depends on how the draft goes. He has until May 3rd to decide.

After Nelson the interior OL is going to really be of value in late rd 1 early rd 2.

Guys like Hernandez, Daniels, Corbett, Wynn all could end up going as high as late round 1 (not all will) Might even seen 1 or 2 go in the early 20's. Wynn is getting some buzz for top 20. If we stay with that 2nd pick and we need interior line when that pick comes up we're either gonna be pissed cause they all fall short of us, or very happy because one falls right into our lap.

Really depends on what we do at #5, but I see a good possibility we might try and move back into the first with our 2nd rounder...

Now if we trade with the Bills and get both their first rounders, then probably not.

I would love that, but right now our TEs are:
Jake Butt
Jeff Heuerman
Matt LaCosse
Brian Parker
Austin Traylor

I am looking forward to seeing what Butt can do and Traylor showed some flashes at times. Heuerman I have given up on and LaCosse and Parker I don't know enough about.

Seems like we have 2 or 3 easy cuts there which would make room for an additional TE. IF Lewis was our guy I would think he would be under contract already.

I am like a broken record here but I don't see us drafting a TE at least early.

Jake Butt is sorta like a draft pick this year. If we take a TE early to me it means he is not healthy. I think we sign a vet after the draft... (Brent Celek or Marcedes Lewis) Both are most likely seeing if they can get more money after the draft. Cut Parker or Lacosse after the draft perhaps once we sign a vet TE to make some room for undrafted guys.

The TE draft is also pretty good on paper next year if we need to go that route next year.

Some red flags coming forth on LSU RB Derrius Guice. Teams really concerns over how he answered questions at the NFL combine as they see some maturity issues with him. Apparently he had some really weird and concerning answers in his interviews.

I think there are 4, maybe 5 TEs that are around the same level. If one of them is still there with our comp pick, I wouldn't mind if they grabbed whoever the leftover is out of that group.

I like the guy's story = love to see him a DB if the Broncos snag him later than round 3.
