Like the Taron Johnson pick. Sounds like he is rising into rd 3-4 range.

Like the fit of Leon Jacobs to the Steelers @ThinMan , guys produces. I feel like Jacobs was very underrated nationally.

Sean Welsh is another interesting pick. A guy I considered taking, but he reminds me a lot of some of the OG's already competing for Denver. Guy can play OG and OT and at worst should be a nice depth guy. Might never be a great starting option, but can be a guy who can start if needed or be nice depth here in round 5.

@MaroonTyphoon Way to rip my heart out one pick before I was going to take Brandon Parker.

OT's on sale?
Swing for the fences at this point, I say. I basically just draft a guy only because of his wingspan and positional value. I figure, hey, the NFL pays people to coach for a reason.

Thanks. He's certainly the type of guy they have taken a shine to the last handful of years(since the Jarvis Jones pick they have prioritized higher SPARQ scores on defense, particularly at LB. It's one of the reasons why Vander Esch makes so much sense for them too). Jacobs was a fit at my last pick too, especially now since their depth situation both inside and out is so iffy, but I gambled he'd linger.

He's had experience as ILB and OLB, plays the run pretty well, and has the speed most of the Steelers other current LBs don't. Needs to work on his rush moves more if he wants to be more than a subs package guy on the outside, but the athletic ability and physical frame is there. I honestly wouldn't count out the possibility that he could be a pretty solid contributor on the inside if a team wanted to try him there. He's definitely got the speed to run down plays on the corner from the inside.

He could be a boss on teams, if nothing else.

Back at ya on Michael Dickson. Had we checked the board more carefully and seen Oakland before the Packers, we probably would’ve taken him with that late 5th round pick. Oh well. Great pick. Think he goes way before the 5th round, but it’s hard to project punters anymore.

Is it me or are people afraid to take WR's and TE's this year? :pound:

Yeah I know- Not the best draft class for either.

That might be the problem...

Look what it did for Darryl Worley. ;)
Haha I haven't seen all the details of that incident yet, but combative is a plus trait in my football players .:D

Well it cost him a roster spot and probably a spot on the Bengals.

Oh yeah and one nice thing about drafting for the Bengals?

All goes. You can take whoever you want no matter the red flag. Antonio Callaway was suppose to be mine.
