Same question I ask about Ryan Grant, why would any WR choose to play here?

lol so let me get this straight. The Raiders cut Crabtree who is a FAR more viable option at this point in his career because he was being paid $7M in 2018, and then pay Jordy Nelson $7.5M each year for 2 years ($15M) with $13M guaranteed when Crabtree has $2M less guaranteed with an extra 3rd year?

:pound:

I mean you can't make this shit up.

A Ravens Grade.
D Raiders Grade.

Nelson is fine for like.... $5-6M per year (not $7.5) and CERTAINLY not a basically fully guaranteed contract. In addition, they let Crabtree walk over Nelson because he 'didn't fit their system'? The fuck? He's a near 30 fucking WR... make him fit. This is like saying a 30 year old guy doesn't know how to stick his dick in all 3 holes by now.

The Raiders were considering letting Crabtree go even before the Nelson signing. There were issues with Crabtree in the locker room. He is ok when things are going okay but starts pouting and pointing fingers when things aren't going well. He did it twice in SF

That is my concern with him right there...He can be a difference maker, or a trouble maker...
I would have rather had Nelson but you never know what these guys will do with another team...Look at Steve Smith, he was breaking his team mates noses in the locker room at Carolina, and nothing but an inspiration here in Bmore....My fav WR we ever had play here....

Well, because over all this is a winning organization that has 2 SB's to prove it...And of course making millions of dollars doesn't hurt the matter either....
But a bigger question is why would Drew Brees want to play in that cesspool N.O.....I mean the smell is as bad as the team.....pee U !!!!!

You're an idiot. Flacco is a shitty QB while Brees is a first ballot HOF. The Saints are almost religiously a top 5 offensive team

This isn't even about the Saints. Point is the Ravens are usually a bad offensive team with a mediocre QB. Going there as a FA WR isn't a good move

You are dumber than you look, if that's possible....Brees is a good qb on a crappy team that has 1 lucky SB in it's entire existence of over 50 yrs....Of the which was a laughing stock until Brees come to town....
The Ravens have 2 SB wins in a 21 yr existence , been in more AFCCG's and have 2 HOF players already in....
Read a little wiki on those putrid saints before you go mouthing off about another team, Skippy !!!!

You clearly missed the part of my post when I said "This isn't even about the Saints" I'm assuming or maybe you're just that dumb.

This is a what have you done for me lately league. As a WR, I would assume you want to play on a good offensive team with a good QB. Baltimore is not a good offensive team and Flacco is not a good Qb. Crabtree had better options. Baltimore had the 29th ranked passing offense in 2017 & Flacco was ranked 23rd in QBR

An extremely generous number for him.

But since you want to make this about the Saints, ask 100 WR/TE who never played for the Saints or Ravens, who they rather have as their QB? Brees or Flacco? Guessing nearly 100% going with Brees

And you are obviously a numbskull that thinks stats tell it all about a player and a team....
Joe is a SB MVP, been to 3 AFCCG's and matched the GOAT's SB run of 11 TD's and 0 INT's.....
And anytime you dis another team's players on here, it's gonna bring up your team, so wake up Jr !!
Yes our stats were bad last yr, but we were 1 game away from the playoffs, so stats mean nothing except the W's..
A team that depends on the run will have low passing stats and visa versa for example....
Joe is not Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers but he has as many SB wins as Rodgers and Brees....
So if he's a bum, so are they....

Has Grant even missed a game? This smells like shit to me.

Nope. Saw this line from the PFT article about Grant failing his physical

In the case of Grant, it’s unclear what the issue is. Grant has played all 16 games in all four of his NFL seasons.
