I don’t follow much during the off-season.

His role will be recruiter.

For the other B1G East Division secondaries, absolutely.

Between Tim Drevno, Pep Hamilton, and Jim McElwain running things for the Wolverines passing game, the DB's in the B1G gonna be lickin' their chops.

Michigan Football Coaches and Staff

The Wolverines have a very good defensive coaching staff....but the offensive staff, not so much.

Honestly, I'm not sure how much a positions coach, especially WR, impacts the overall offense. Do most people even know the name of their WR coach?

Based on our offense last year, I don’t know if we have any offensive coaches.

I've been frustrated with the Michigan offense since about 2003. We've had some damn fine defenses in that span.....always met with a sub-optimal offense.

I've noticed that MSU has the Wildcats also scheduled in 2019, 2020, and 2021.........6 consecutive years!

Ohio State has Nebraska for 6 straight years
Maryland has Minnesota
Indiana has Purdue
Illinois has Rutgers
Iowa has Penn State

Stupid to not have rotating games for the non division opponents.

Looks like starting in 2021 they will start having conference play week one.

If I'm not mistaken, the Old Oaken Bucket game has been made a permanent crossover......but the other ones are dumb.



I really want to see college football eliminate divisions. Instead of divisions, simply play one or two annually protected in-conference rivalry games, and rotate the other conference foes. With this system, we could have conferences with an odd number of members......and......even with a 15 member conference playing only 8 conference games, a team could play every conference opponent every other year, even while protecting two permanent annual in-conference rivalry games. At the end of the regular season, the two best teams in the conference meet in the CCG.

Under this division-less system with 8 conference games (4 home, and 4 away), I would also like to see it be made mandatory that at least 2 of the 4 out-of-conference games be played against other Power 5 teams (one home, and one away).......some cool rivalries could thus be played annually every Thanksgiving week, permanently (Oklahoma vs Nebraska, Pitt vs West Virginia, Texas vs Texas A&M, Iowa vs Iowa State, Louisville vs Kentucky, Florida State vs Florida, Georgia vs Georgia Tech, Clemson vs South Carolina, USC vs Notre Dame, and the big one: Rutgers vs Syracuse, etc.).........allow two home games vs mid-major group of five opponents in order to guarantee 7 home contests each year.
