While I hate to be WIPCaller, or whatever, the fact he played in the game, and i assume will do the skills challenge along with the all-star game tells me the front office cares more about notoriety than health.

Damn, still super excited to have Marco on the team, scorer off the bench they've been missing, which sadly, should be Fultz, hopefully he figures it out, still hate that trade in hindsight even if he figures it out. You trust management to put in work, this was a draft with a wide range of talent. Fuck the system that drove Hinkie out. Not every pick worked, but he did what he could and from the trades he was able to make, I trust he could have managed the shit people he drafted into a good scenario.

Wow Kawhi might be available. RoCo, Justin Anderson, maybe Saric may do it. Oh wait, the trade deadline has passed, lol.

Wow, don't know how they came away with that one. Shot terrible from the line all night and Ben of all people comes up clutch hitting 2. Bobby Portis having a career night gets the ball down low against TJ and they can't make it work. Chi had a nice crowd going there tonight.

They're learning how to close. Let's get that 4th or 3rd seed baby

Great win that could have been a gut punch loss.

Technical question that I'm too lazy to look up.

When Embiid steals the ball on that inbounds pass down by 1, his right foot appears to step over the half court line as he passes back to Simmons. What's the backcourt rule? Do both feet have to be over? Just one? Does the ball have to be over?

Is something like that even reviewable?

Great win. Clutch free throws for Simmons after he missed the previous two.
Saric was dependable.
Not much from anyone else...

Felt like strangling Covington at times, but then I remembered :
Super Bowl Champions!!!

I did not even notice that, but I watched the Bulls telecast on NBA League Pass and the announcers, especially Stacy King thought Embiid stepped out of bounds. The replay looked like he may have.

I agree, the team is learning to lose out games, but RoCo should not be in there at clutch times. He sucks!!!! I wish they would get rid of him and bring in a real 3 and D player. He kills rallies, turns the ball over and just makes bad decisions at the wrong time.

Embiid is a stud and I think Ben Simmons is going to be a better player in the long run. If we could get rid of Colangelo and get a guy that knows better than to make trades with the enemy this team could end up being a dynasty.

It meant close out not lose games.

Did you realize Covington was a +13 for the game?

He's still an elite defensive player.

Whether it's the contract or injuring his back, I still think he's capable of being the player he was at the start of the season. Sure, he needs to hit open 3s, but he's actually developing a drive to the rim, so I'm willing to give him more time. His contract is not terrible for what he is. He's arguably the fifth option in the starting lineup, which seems about right for him.

Stupid nationally televised games. Was only able to listen to it as the movers packed my shit up. A problem that will soon be no longer. Don't feel too bad about losing the b2b with the win streak they were coming off of. Sounded like they were never quite able to get over that hump. Also sounded like Dario can't buy himself a foul.

I go by what I see. I see a guy that turns the ball over, and was paid to make 3's. I am not sure how much credence I give to those +/- for the game. If he is on the floor with Embiid and Simmons, his +/- is going to be high.

What were his defensive ratings last year when Simmons didn't play and Embiid was off the court???

I have no idea and I would not even know how to look it up. I watch just about every game, and I am not a fan of RoCo. Early in the year, I though, maybe I was wrong last year, but I don't think I was.

Ok I'm a huge huge huge LeBron fan. I'm picking him and his teams vs anyone, accept against the sixers of course. With that said, I can't see how him coming here works. We already have a LeBron in the makings. What is Simmons gonna do when LeBron has the ball? I think they need to pass of that.

Tough loss.

We stole one at home against Miami by coming back from what, 24 points, and now Miami returns the favor with Wade's fingerprints all over the dagger in our backs.

Turnovers. 'nuff said.
Has to be better.
Miami played a very physical, playoff-atmosphere like game.
Hopefully they show up against Cleveland.

They certainly showed up.
Nice win.

No way should Dario not dunk there. They were looking to foul, so they were still playing.

If their player is going to get a meaningless dunk on the previous play, then it's up to the losing team to lay down first if they want us to lay down. They even shot a meaningless three at the end of the game. Can't have it both ways.

Insert Kelce meme
"Philly will never beat Cleveland!"
