Uh, Bob? YOU BUILT THAT TEAM! You are responsible for how they play and who shows up and who doesn't. If 3/4's of the way in they still aren't that great, you didn't build that great of a team! The players are showing you something - they're showing you what they are and what they aren't.

Doubt he knows them.

If I had to guess, he has every Canadian team on it except for maybe Vancouver because them making a trade like that doesn't make any sense, along with 4 likely contenders (TB, BOS probably). Doesn't mean he wouldn't take the trade, just means he gets to make the final call as to where he goes.

I missed part of the end of the game. Why was Doughty pissed off? Was it just from fanning on the clear attempt or did something else happen?

None of his teammates back-checked. He was frustrated with them because he stopped the first two attempts, and no one came back to help with the clean-up.

Oh that makes sense. They did leave him out on an island at the end of the game.
Or maybe at that time the realization sunk in he is stuck playing with Dion Phaneuf.
