First Game Win!

Still getting my hockey bearings. I am a noob to the sport, with Vegas getting a team gives me reason to become a fan.

Pretty fun getting the first win. I am thinking the Vegas goalie might be really busy this season, seemed like he was getting shot at all game long.

What a start for your team; and, what a special and emotional home opener. I really hope it works out well for Vegas (and the NHL).

If you get the chance, get your ass some tix, and go see a game or 2, if you've never been to a live one.

Expect growing pains, but don't give up on them.

Welcome to hockey! by far my favorite sport. Been a Kings fan my whole hockey life growing up in LA....moved to Reno and even tho I am obligated to hate southern NV I will semi-secretly root for LVGN! If you have any hockey questions ask away.....

Yeah thanks man. I am way more into hockey now that I have a rooting interest. Having never really watched, It will take awhile to understand all the rules and strategy, So i'm sure I will have some questions.

Yeah pretty awesome start, can't imagine they keep that up though. I plan on making it to at least one game this season. T-Mobile arena is pretty awesome, and being able to bar hop the strip on the way to a game or after will make for a legit sports experience.

Still playing pretty good. Nice OT win and in first place in the pacific. Doing way better than I expected thus far.

30+ year Kings fan, pulling for Vegas since they are somewhat in the hood as well as so many SoCal folks affected by the shooting. Not to mention I owe you guys for all the damage I have done to your city throughout my youth and party animal days.

The Knights have been impressive, their team speed is meant for where the game is currently. McPhee did a good job not only constructing the team but picking guys up who are serviceable to play now but also could be parlayed into future draft picks and prospects since so many are on expiring contracts.

I'm curious to see what the team looks like at the Trade Deadline (Feb 26 I believe); McPhee has decisions to make depending on where they are in the standings and might see the downside to that strategy he chose as well (having to move current players playing well for futures but then reducing the talent level on the team too. Especially a tough situation if they look playoff bound).

All in all, impressive first season so far. I have seen a ton of expansion going back to 1991 (Sharks), 1992 (Lightning/Senators), 1993 (Florida/Anaheim), 1998 (Nashville), 1999 (Atlanta) and 2000 (Minnesota/Columbus) and no team has played as well as Vegas.

It is definitely a different game - back then we were at the midst of "clutch and grab" hockey so skilled players could not showcase their goods but with the game opening up consistently since 2005 it's fun to watch these guys.

First in the Pacific!!! Completely surprised with how well they have played so far in their first year. Knights are killing it at home.

Went to st.louis game friday night. What a great game, and overall experience. Fucking awesome.
