OT: Nassar abuse.

I heard something about the gymnastics coach on the radio a few days ago. I didn't hear the part about him being a MSU coach.


140 victims. That's even bigger than Sandusky. And he worked for different organizations too (USA Gymnastics; MSU) so he had more availability of targets.

He's not a MSU coach. He was a Doctor.



He didn't r*pe anyone either. Apples to oranges with Sandusky. But disturbing that folks within the University were aware of complaints about him. To the point he was accompanied by another adult for visits at times.



Case may well never have came to trial if the local DA hadn't been busted in a sex trafficking ring. For years these crimes were swept under the rug in Lansing.

Hey @broncosmitty . It's been a few years.

Digital finger penetration; r*pe. Given how the abuser has control over his victims, and is sexually violating them, they are close, to me. The method may vary. But to use your apples and oranges example, they're both fruit.

Yeah, Stuart Dunnings.

He clearly has friends in high places. Cuz there's no way he shouldn't be behind bars the rest of his life.

My "wife" gave multiple human trafficking cases to his office over the years, only to see no charges pressed. My only hope is he's being used by the FBI for more fish.

Lansing is dirty, very very dirty. The Cabinet head of her department is facing manslaughter charges right now too. No bueno.

Won't matter who the manager is. They're gonna be awful for awhile. A long while. Only reason they haven't traded Miggy is no body will take the contract, or even part of it.

Pretty much anyone with Big League talent will be moved. Castellanos, Iglesias, Fulmer and Miggy will all be gone soon.

Last year wasn't even close to rock bottom imo.

Non-disclosure agreements are different than settlements and timing matters, but there are things that I don't really care about the differences. Take the fine. I mean, if something illegal happens after you sign the nondisclosure agreement that is outside of what you can reasonably expect, I think it shouldn't be covered unless there's a good reason for it. I could get into details but don't really feel like doing so right now.

If a settlement is signed, it should be honored generally speaking, but if there are 140 victims or whatever, I don't feel bad for the guy. Maybe there isn't much difference in "awareness" between 139 and 140, so I could see someone saving their money since they can't save their nonmonetary losses, unless their story furthers the awareness, etc. If one guy touched the inner thigh of 139 individuals and has a life sentence, saying there was one more thigh touching isn't going to do much beyond cost money - but if the 140th was something even worse or the victim feels some closure by it, say it.

Just heard the Payne sexual assault was thrown out, by Stuart Dunnings.


I do not doubt that POS took cash from MSU back channels on a ton of these.

Don't they have to specify grounds of why a case is dismissed? Can the victim speak out if she doesn't want the case dismissed? Or hold her own press conference on how she disagrees with it being thrown out?

No reason. I don't go to the general board, and know the people in this forum, so I wanted to make sure I got their thoughts on it.

I wanted to read responses from the people I interact with the most.

Im not sure if they have to say much on why charges were dropped, or never pressed.

Assuming money takes care of a lot of things.
