Evander Kane -- one of my favorite players in the league -- I think hes a BEAST. Other people tell me im nuts... My trade proposal would be Pavs for E.K... which people will bite my head off... But WAIT, theres more... I dont think Buff would do that... So I would propose Pavs + Lebanc + 3rd rnder for E.K.... What are your thoughts??

I was anti trading pavs the past 2 years cause he always put up the numbers... This year has been a turd burgler of a season for him... EK is 26, pavs is 33... Yea the career numbers are uncomparable. But EK is coming into his own I believe... Hes looking for long term $$$ and Buff is looking SOMETHING to make a team of themselves... Normally Im against SJ giving away the picks and prospects, but I think adding EK would be HUGE for us...

Thoughts??

I hope the Sharks use the Thornton money in the off season and offer Tavares a huge contract if he becomes a UFA... Like seriously, if he is a UFA, he should be SJs main priority

Both Ward and Hansen are off the books next season and if Dwill can dump Martin that fees up another 8 mi. SJ in great position to land Tavares if he hits the market and if they can get him and bailey, sick!

Yikes, I just checked - Vlasic & Jones contracts go up almost 7M!! There goes all the Hansen, Ward & Martin money... Vlasic is an awesome player but shit 7.2M and Jones at 6.75?!?! Thats insanity! Plus Hertl is a RFA... Tavares might be a tough buy. I figured they would easily have 10M extra to throw at him.

Well Thornton isn’t getting 8 mill next season either, if the team is smart abdctgornton is cooperative, they’ll sign him to a Jagr esque bonus laden deal. Cap is going up next year and Vlasic is getting rewarded for taking a pay cut in his prime years, it’s how Dwill operates, Jones he got the team to the Stanley cup final so that’s his pay raise lol

yeah well you dont get named to team canada's olympic team first if your a 4-5 Shut down dmen who routinely put up 30pnts just dont exist, youve got a lot of mike greens, burns, karrlasson's and subans. Great offensively terribly defensively.

Anyway i would be shocked if this Fehr deal is precursor to a bigger deal, im guessing Jannik Hansen is gone, probably packaeged with O'regan, Goodrow, and maybe Heed for a decent forward

LOL I just noticed the Fehr trade... Why in the fark did SJ trade for a 32 yr old bum that wasnt even playing that makes 2M a year!?!?!? WTF was that?? If SJ is trying to land Tavares this offseason, adding pointless overpaid bums like this is NOT the way to do it...
Does anyone have an answer for this??

Also --as you all probably know - i LOVE landing Kane - esp cause we didnt give up jack shit to get him. Look at the over payments on Hartman and Tatar Tot - we stole Kane. But if it costs us getting Tavares, then no I dont like it... The Sharks COULD still sign both Kane & Tavares.

BUT this being the dumbass Sharks, they will probably sign Kane for 6M a year then give Thornton 5M a year, and retain Martin and there goes all the cap space...

Man I am royally pissed off about this Fehr trade... Almost as mad as I was about Hansen... Why add these pointless pieces of poop?!
